She was a judge on The Voice here for years. AND she is an actress, actually she started out in a very popular Aussie soap.

2021-04-30 13:53:18 +0000 UTCThanks Michael - great review. You were spot on with the Celine Dion comparisons (Celine is someone she definitely admires) and Delta wrote one of her songs. This performance is post cancer, pre the surgery that paralysed her tongue. She sounds brilliant either side of all these health concerns. This song was #1 in Australia but nowhere else. She really doesn't have a huge profile much outside Aussie (pronounced Ozzie - you had it right the first time) except for NZ and UK. I think geographically it's very hard to make it big anywhere else unless you're prepared to relocate to the US or UK - like what 5SOS have done. Plenty more artists like her and Guy and Matt to come :)

I love watching reactions because they open up so many artist that I never would of heard of otherwise. Too just go on a music app and look up things is a bust for me as I like almost all genres. So who would know where to start. This way is much more fun and you get more than great music, you learn a lot and have great company along the way.

2021-04-30 03:23:14 +0000 UTCI've listened to Delta Goodrem a little bit and even though her songs don't usually hit with me, her voice is awesome and she definitely knows how to put on a show! You may be thinking of Adele, about reteaching/relearning her voice; I'm pretty sure she had some sort of throat surgery and then when she recovered, her range was different than she was used to.
