lol you don't even know how that industry works and you automatically assume that all these groups are not authentic and manufactured. Please refrain from saying such things when you aren't even informed enough. Also, generalizing is always wrong and if you want to give your opinion on a single or multiple groups, especially when you are saying they are unauthentic and manufactured (which is incredibly insulting to an artist) it would be better if you backed up what you say with actual examples and facts, otherwise it is simply an ignorant and uninformed point of view that no one cares about and only spreads negativity

Hi. This is not really related to the Video but there are these two Artists called Sara Kays and Gracie Abrams i thought you might want to check out sometime. They both make really great lyric-based music. They're still in their early stages and have not released an album yet they're songs are so beautiful and vulnerable I thought you might like it. Olivia Rodrigo is also a huge Gracie Abrams Fan and wrote drivers license after driving around and crying to her songs. Anyways I love your videos and enjoyed this reaction video like always! <3

no raw talent? While I do agree that there are many aspects of this industry that is 100% manufactured and there are many groups that are not authentic, you can't just teach someone to sing like Mamamoo and so many other idols. And I don't know how much of BTS you listen to, but they have so many genuine raw songs, specially on their solo stuff. Yes, mostly of what is heavily promoted is more comercial (even then their title songs have really nice meanings and are rarely shallow), but they are and have been dedicated and talented artists doing and writing their stuff since day one, and many other kpop idols too

I don't mean to be a Debbie downer, but while the entertainment value is great, in my opinion I find that these groups are not authentic. They are MANUFACTURED with no raw talent. I want to be able to see some ones soul when they're singing, and their genuine raw emotions come out of a song. While I truly enjoy BTS, i'd much rather watch and listen to a Shawn Mendes, or a John Mayer, etc.

omg so much to talk about here! I'm so happy you're diving into mamamoo and more kpop in the future, you won't be disappointed!
About becoming a group: in kpop, groups are put together by companies. Artists audition for the companies and become trainees usually for a couple of years to develop singing, dancing, speaking, sometimes even acting, and then the company decide the best line up for them to debut. It's really not that organic lol, but that what makes groups so strong as groups. There's no weak links or forces crashing because they are planned to be perfectly complementary and work as a team
You will definitely be surprised by how much talent and effort all kpop artists put in their work (and it honestly make me start to see western artists as a bit lazy sometimes, ngl) and while there is a lot of shallow lyrics and """"manufactured"""" work in the industry, you will find many incredible artists out there!
You mentioned BTS as a possibility for albums and reactions and I feel like, since you're so into lyrics, you will really love their work. They've be involved in songwriting and producing since before debuting and have so many important messages about mental health, society pressure on young people, self love and so many other things. Since you also like vocals, I think a good first reaction would be to their NPR Tiny Desk performance! They really showcase their vocal abilities and colors with a live band. For albums, their most recent one is called BE and has some very interesting takes and good lyrics on the pandemic, which was the main theme of it. I also recommend Map of The Soul: 7, it is a long album but it features solos from all the members and has so many different genres and amazing lyrics. Really hope you can get into it eventually
