Love this, so delighted to find it, wanted to tell you--a long-distance friend of mine's son passed away in 2015 not long before this musical came out, if I recall correctly, and every time I hear It's Quiet Uptown I think of her, gosh. Your reaction has been everything I ever wanted!

2024-05-06 03:30:49 +0000 UTCJust jumping back into the comments to say how much it means to me to be able to come back and watch this with you every so often. I've watched this at least 13 times (iykyk) but every single time I feel just as connected to your reaction and the joy Hamilton brings me. It's a phenomenal pick-me-up on downer days. Thank you, forever, for uploading this
Amanda M.
2023-11-28 02:34:08 +0000 UTCYeah, I’ve watched your reaction to Hamilton a dozen times, at least. Not a week goes by without listening to the sound track at home , or in the car. In my lifetime, Hamilton is probably one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen in terms of entertainment.

2023-10-15 15:12:21 +0000 UTCIf you loved this, you should DEFINITELY check out The Last Five Years, another musical. It is actually referenced in Hamilton just after "Say No To This" when Hamilton says "nobody needs to know." (He got permission from the writer of the Last Five Years to use that line), Originally it was a stage production that only had two characters total, Jaime and Cathy, which is an amazing feat all its own. But the movie version of the musical with Jeremy Jordan and Anna Kendrick is BEYOND amazing. Please check it out! You will not regret it!!!

2023-01-09 19:51:31 +0000 UTCFirst, Michael, thank you again for your kindness. If you do happen to read this, my only question would be did you obsess after you watched this like the rest of us Hamilton stans? I bet I've listened to the soundtrack hundreds of times :) Rent, In the Heights, and Wicked are all fantastic and well worth the listens, but the ONLY musical that I would put on this level is Les Miserables. Some would tell you it's too depressing, and I'll admit there are heart wrenching moments in it, but wasn't "It's Quiet Uptown" one of those moments? And the story is absolutely phenomenal. Should you ever get around to watching it, be sure to watch the 10th anniversary edition (closed captions on, of course). It's just the actors singing it on stage with minimal acting, but the feeling and emotion really comes through. For anyone reading this who might want to take my word, do not watch the movie first! Justice was not done. And Michael, I wouldn't presume to ask you to spend a couple more hours on another musical reaction, but if you ever reacted to Les Mis, I'd be the first in line. Thank you so much for your Hamilton reaction. It was so enjoyable watching it again for the first time through your virgin eyes. Very, very well done!

2022-12-07 08:59:43 +0000 UTCI just did the same thing. I've become obsessed with watching people see this show for the first time!

2022-09-13 04:50:40 +0000 UTCHim I’m new here. I found you from your Hamilton reaction on YouTube yesterday and have since consumed most of you Adele and Taylor content as well as your In the Heights reaction. I haven’t seen anyone share with you that Chris Jackson who plays George Washington is a NY rapper (which you caught right away). He was in a improv hip-hop group Called Freestyle Love Supreme with LMM. There is a documentary about freestyle love supreme on Hulu. Also, Leslie Odom started in the movie One Night In Miami where he portrayed Sam Cooke. I’d love to see you’re reaction to that!

2022-09-04 12:28:47 +0000 UTCI generally cry 3 times in this musical. In the songs One Last Time, It's Quiet Uptown, and Who Lives Who Dies Who Tells Your Story. As soon as "the orphanage" comes in I'm in bits every single time.

2022-07-02 14:08:38 +0000 UTCAbsolutely loved this reaction, I like that you aren’t afraid to get emotional with the story, it’s such a powerful one! You should really look into the making of this musical, LMM chose a very specific rap style and cadence for each character and it really shows. I can’t remember the exact podcast or video that explains it but I believe it’s song exploder

2022-05-14 08:38:30 +0000 UTCI would love to see you react to the OBC of Newsies! Jeremy Jordan is 😍 Lin is amazing. I realize this react is almost a year old, but I just joined the Patreon last week and am going through the old stuff. Also, a react to the Hamilton mixtape would be cool and if you love Christopher Jackson, you NEED to listen (would love a react, but you should listen regardless of whether you do a react or not) to the In The Heights OBC. (Seeing the In The Heights movie is worth it for Anthony- who btw was engaged to the actress who played Peggy (Jasmine Cephas Jones) but he cheated on her so I lost some respect for him- but it holds nothing to the OBC cast.) Lin wrote it as well and plays the main character Usnavi and Chris plays his best friend, Benny. Lin uses a lot of the same people in his productions. He wrote the music for Moana and Chris voiced a character in there too. Also, Hamilton is still touring. I highly recommend going to see it live. It’s so much more emotional live.
Melissa Ryan
2022-04-15 02:47:01 +0000 UTCThe Roots were part of the original Hamilton Mixtape. Lin originally had some songs he was going to put on a mixtape after reading a book on Hamilton he picked up at the airport on vacation. Then he wrote more and it turned into a play so it changed, but he did release the Hamilton Mixtape which has tons of hip-hop and R&B/pop artists (some sing songs from the show with their spin on it, while others took the idea of the show and had other songs. it's really great. I'd recommend reacting to it when you get the chance.

2021-12-30 20:45:15 +0000 UTCYou might already know but David Diggs (Lafayette/Jefferson) is a part of the rap/hip hop group called Clippng. I don't know what they're doing now but I used to listen to a couple of their songs years ago. Might just be something to check out.

2021-08-16 02:59:06 +0000 UTCThis play is extraordinary and I was so happy to run across your exceptional reaction video. I did not think a non-theater person would really “get” that many facets of this show – mainly because it is so dense and needs to be seen more than once. Really fantastic job – you are very perceptive and have a keen sense of finding the emotional journeys that artists create. I listened to it for the first time knowing only that Aaron Burr shot Alexander Hamilton in a duel. Did you know that it is Hamilton on the $10 bill? That he started the New York Post? And the Coast Guard? I didn’t. To answer 2 questions: No, The Roots did not write any part of this show – it was all from the mind of Lin Manuel. And he won a Grammy, Tony Awards and even a Pulitzer prize. Lin Manuel Miranda is a connoisseur of rap and has an improvisational hip-hop comedy musical group called "Freestyle Love Supreme". I loved that you can see all the subtle rap references (I had no idea) I want to tell you about the Hamilton Mixtape - he invited recording artists to create remixes of all of the songs in the show. You can find them on YouTube as Hamilton Mixtape. (“Satisfied” - Sia, feat. Miguel & Queen Latifah, “Wrote My Way Out” – Nas, Dave East, Aloe Blacc, “Wait For It” – Usher, -- even Hamilton songs with Kelly Clarkson and Weird Al Yankovic.) And here is one of the raps that was cut from the show (“Sit Down John, you fat mutherf*ker”) but Shockwave covered it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUI8b17YGx8&list=RDQMOR7BfTEK3_8&start_radio=1&ab_channel=sticars "Let me know if there are other musicals like Hamilton so I can check them out" LOL- no, but there will be in the future as it influences new playwrights but as a theater nerd, I can name at least 15 different ways this show was a total game-changer on Broadway and nothing comes close. (Other worthy notables: Daveed DiggsDaveed Diggs won a Tony Award for his portrayal of Lafayette/Jefferson. Did you notice that the entire show was sung – no dialog? Every performance on Broadway was made available for school groups to come to for $10 per kid. Every performance had a pre-show lottery for people to see the show for $10. Check out the “Ham4Ham” vids, little pre-shows Lin Manuel + cast did for the lottery participants every day.)

2021-07-10 22:02:51 +0000 UTCJust finished. I'm so happy. Honestly can't tell you how wonderful it is to see someone totally captivated and immersed and just absorbing everything like a sponge. I wish we could see your 2nd viewing just because you catch 100% more once its not so overwhelming. I hope you let us in on your reaction to In The Heights. I want to pay the top tier fee for you to watch the original cast with Lin Manuel Miranda and Chris Jackson who played Washington but the only copies are bootlegs on youtube and not great quality. Check out the cast album though for sure.

2021-06-02 03:59:06 +0000 UTCLiterally this is how I got here. Randomly got recommended the YT version and wasn't about to watch it that way. Even if I run through everything else and just unsub at the end because there's nothing else, it was worth it for this alone.

2021-05-27 22:52:27 +0000 UTCI love how at the end when the people are singing in the back “would they tell your story” the one walking behind Eliza is Hamilton and then changes the character now being Lin taking the hand of Eliza walking with her (as what I see as him reading the letters that Hamilton wrote and that she decided to publish) so all that that they walked was him writing the musical and placing her in front of the audience like saying: “This is her story”. That’s how I see it.

2021-05-26 09:36:30 +0000 UTCPlease I know this shouldn't be a suggestion comment but you should definitely watch RENT filmed on Broadway it is on YouTube. I loved seeing your reaction to this new filmed Broadway world. I had no idea this show was so new to you so I was so excited for you to get to so many parts. I think a new side series of filmed musicals would be so great to see

2021-05-24 08:21:01 +0000 UTCThis thing is a work of genius that I can’t get enough of and yes, I joined just to fan girl someone else’s reactions. My absolute FAVORITE thing, that nobody else seems to find valuable but I think is so noteworthy and honorable here is that every time Washington makes his way onstage as General, people salute. It’s in the choreography. The respect of it all!! Even Lafayette rapping at 120mph! It blows my mind and melts my heart all at once.

2021-05-23 18:21:07 +0000 UTCI pledged just to watch this reaction without any cuts or edits. Hamilton is one of my favorite musicals and I enjoyed so much watching you react to it! (I've seen and listened to it millions of times and ended sobbing at the end as usual!) Idk if anyone answered your question at the end, but Lin Manuel Miranda wrote the Book, Music and Lyrics, it was all him. And then Alex Lacamoire helped with the Orchestration and was the Musical Director. BTW My favorite character is Washington too - you should react to when Chris Jackson sang "One Last Time" before the Obama's left office it's incredible.
Monica Mendez
2021-05-22 07:19:58 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite theories is that this musical is called Hamilton because it's actually the story of Eliza Hamilton telling their story and the gasp at the end is her realizing that their story was told through this muscial. <3
Kristin Trelstad
2021-05-22 02:44:02 +0000 UTCDaveed Diggs (Layfette/Jefferson) is a rapper. His band is called Clipping. Highly recommend their album, "Visions of Bodies Being Burned." Especially the single, "Say the Name." Also, you should watch the Hamilton cast at the Whitehouse. Christopher Jackson sings "One Last Time" to Obama before Obama left office. I have watched it like 20 times and cry every time.
Kristin Trelstad
2021-05-22 01:41:20 +0000 UTCAlso, etc — Sara Bareilles sang an cut song from Hamilton’s Off Broadway days called “Dear Theodosia Reprise” heartbreaking. Also, also, if you’re looking for musical recs —- Sara Bareilles wrote one called “Waitress”. Very different from this but still great and has solely contemporary singing.

2021-05-21 08:31:27 +0000 UTCIt was so fun to experience this with you! I have a list of “if you love that/you’ll love this” based on the cast: Leslie Odom Jr. (Burr) — Music: HIS CHRISTMAS ALBUMS omg. Specifically “Simply Christmas”. Also, he did a song written by Sara Bareilles imagined from Obama’s perspective called “Seriously” OMG his vocals. Tv: Smash (about a Broadway putting on a Marilyn Monroe musical. V meta. V good), Anthony Ramos (Laurens/Philip) — Film/Tv: In the Heights movie (2021), She’s Gotta Have It (the series), Music/Musicals: 21 Chump Street (npr 15min musical w/Lin), His album “The Good & The Bad”. Daveed Diggs (Lafayette/Jefferson) — Blindspotting (movie he made w/ Rafael Casal OMG it also has rap telling a story. It’s elite), His albums: Colin Ep, Blindspotting: The Miles EP, and Seven Nights in Chicago. Christopher Jackson (Washington) — Theatre: In The Heights OBC (Lin’s first musical— chef’s kiss), Holler If Ya Hear Me (Tupac Jukebox Musical); Film: Moana; Music: Freestyle Love Supreme (omg he did this back in the day with Lin. They had a series that’s on amazon now I believe.) Okieriete Onaodowan (Mulligan/Madison) — Tv: Station 19 (Haven’t seen it but it’s a Shondaland show so I’m sure it’s great) Renee Elise Goldsberry (Angelica) — Film/Musical: Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway (If you haven’t seen the original cast of RENT tho, I’d start there. This is the closing cast.) Jasmine Cephas Jones (Peggy/Maria) — Music: Her EP “Blue Bird”; Film/TV: Blindspotting!! If you watch anything— watch this. There’s a tv series coming out soon based on the movie in which she’s leading.

2021-05-21 08:03:49 +0000 UTCone of my favorite things about the way this is done is the ending where Eliza breaks through the wall and gasps at the audience. she's seeing that people are hearing his story and that his legacy lived on. i think it's such a crazy beautiful ending!

2021-05-20 18:20:31 +0000 UTCYESSSS, YESSSS, JUST YESSSS!!! Right from your intro, i knew you were gonna be shook how the music was going to be. YESSSS. My devices and tv are starting to have burn ins of your set but it’s so worth it LOL

2021-05-20 00:35:12 +0000 UTCI forget sometimes how much this musical is genius. I’ve had the best 3 hours right now so thanks. Please, there’re 2 more songs you must check out. First burn- the earlier version of burn, performed by 5 different actresses who played Eliza. https://youtu.be/r2ys-AimNbE The second song is “Congratulations”, and it was almost completely cut off from the show. It’s Angelica’s reaction to Hamilton stupidness. https://youtu.be/lQh-7-PNgoU

2021-05-20 00:17:01 +0000 UTCI *love* First Burn! I think I like it more than the original Burn (I understand why they chose that version for the character but I love listening to First Burn more).
Kaitlyn Long
2021-05-19 22:46:06 +0000 UTCA lot of the cast of Hamilton have their own music careers with some great music you could react to by the way. Leslie Odom Jr. (Burr) has some fantastic music out! Anthony Ramos Martinez (John Laurens/Philip) also has some cool stuff (he's also going to be in lead in the "In the Heights" musical coming out this year!
Kaitlyn Long
2021-05-19 22:45:15 +0000 UTCSomething that is really cool about the musical styles in Hamilton is they all reflect the characters that are singing them. For example, Hamilton and his friends sing in a rap style because they are (pun intended) young, scrappy, and hungry. Rap music reflects their characters. Hamilton raps faster and more eloquently than his friends because his character is smarter and quicker thinking than his friends. Burr sings in a more traditional style because he is more traditional and rigid. King George sings in a style that sounds like a Beetles song (that choice is more fun than symbolic). Eliza is more traditional so she sings in a more traditional musical theatre style. Angelica is more fast thinking and worldly than her sister so she can rap. Just something fun to think about! All the layers to the choices made in writing Hamiliton are fascinating.
Kaitlyn Long
2021-05-19 22:34:24 +0000 UTCLoved this reaction. Hamilton is one of my favourite musicals and this felt like I was watching it with a friend. You asked for suggestions for musicals and I would definitely recommend Hadestown. There is no recorded version yet, but the soundtrack and the storytelling are just amazing

2021-05-17 22:02:14 +0000 UTCPlease react to the First Burn video on the Hamilton YouTube! It’s the original version of Burn and it will NOT disappoint! https://youtu.be/r2ys-AimNbE

2021-05-12 17:23:08 +0000 UTCIf I wrote down everything amazing about Hamilton and Lin Manuel Miranda, this comment would be 10 feet long. So I’ll just say a few things. 1) you should do a reaction to The Hamilton Mixtap where artists cover all of Hamilton 2) the first musical Lin wrote is In The Heights and it was made into an actual movie (staring Philip/Laurens in Lin’s original role) that will be released on HBO Max in June. You have to watch and react to that. 3) you should react to the original cast recording of In The Heights, besides Lin being in it, the guy who plays Washington plays Benny and is AMAZING.

2021-05-10 10:04:00 +0000 UTCThis was such a pleasant surprise! I always cry through pretty much this whole musical... LOL

2021-05-08 21:52:04 +0000 UTCI loved getting to rewatch this with you! It was kind of like I was watching it for the first time again through your eyes. I would absolutely recommend you watch the musical Falsettos (good for pride month hehe)! You had me crying with you at the end!

2021-05-08 20:33:44 +0000 UTCWow I watched this last year on Disney+ I don’t hate it by any means but I didn’t love it. Thank you for making me revisit it! It was so much better the second time around I definitely cried when his son died and at the very end this time. It’s a great musical! I’ve only seen beauty and the beast live for a Broadway musical. But I’ve seen quite a few movie adaptations. Rent, hairspray, mama Mia, phantom of the opera. Definitely need to see some live in theater!

Jules
2021-05-08 12:21:28 +0000 UTCYeah and the Lin you see at the end taking her to the front of the stage might actually be Lin Manuel and not Alexander. It is theorized that it shows how Lin told her story

2021-05-08 09:26:18 +0000 UTCI finally finished this at 3am but I am so happy. I always love to see people falling in love with this musical just as much as I did. And honestly, there's so much to uncover about the cast, the history behind Lin's almost 7 years to put it all together and the little facts behind Hamilton's life story as well. One of my favorite 'side' things about Hamilton is definitely the first mixtape, they have covers by names like Kelly Clarkson, Usher, Ashanti and JaRule ('Helpless' was originally inspired by their duets from the early 00's), besides songs that were cut from the original play ('Congratulations' is a huge stand out, showing how Angelica reacted to the Reynolds Pamphlets) and also remixes like the one from The Roots on the credits. I will stop because I could honestly write 10k words on Hamilton and everything that comes with it, but I'm really really glad you watched it and loved it and I hope you'll continue to learn more about it!

2021-05-08 05:11:40 +0000 UTCI've watched the filmed one 20 times and i just went and saw it live in sydney (different cast) and it was so good. I wish I got to see the og live
Jules
2021-05-08 05:09:54 +0000 UTCSo you got me watching this for the 100000 time and I still cry, you should react to the cast, they have solo music, almost all of them and soon we'll have another musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda and the actor of Laurens that you love his voice is in it too, it's called in the heights
Vivian Betancourt
2021-05-08 04:58:57 +0000 UTCEliza’s gasp at the end is open to interpretation, but I and many others like to think it is the fourth wall breaking and Eliza seeing the audience and seeing that, yes, she has done enough and we are now telling Hamilton’s story thanks to her work to keep his legacy alive. Eliza lived to be 100 years old i think which is nearly unheard of for that time, and the orphanage she opened in NYC is still there!
Elisha Li
2021-05-08 03:21:06 +0000 UTCNEED you to react to Anthony Ramos’ album (the guy who plays Laurens/Phillip)
Elisha Li
2021-05-08 03:19:05 +0000 UTCI had to pause it just to say that Anthony Ramos, who plays Laurens/Phillip, has one of my favorite albums ever and if you loved his voice here you should definitely check it out!
Giu Bressani
2021-05-08 03:05:22 +0000 UTCThere is some evidence that might suggest Eliza really did burn her letters to/from Hamilton. I think I read there is no record of Eliza for a certain period of time that would align with the scandal. So it’s really possible that she burned her stuff
Elisha Li
2021-05-08 02:40:01 +0000 UTCokay i'm only a few minutes into this right now but i just know you'll love daveed diggs and leslie odom jr. they are beyond talented! okay now that i've finished it, you definitely have to watch newsies. one of the best ever

2021-05-08 01:41:17 +0000 UTCAhh this was so cool! I've done musical theatre for fun most of my life so I listened to Hamilton when the cast album was first released around 2015/2016, and then bothered all my friends until they listened to it. I was lucky enough to see the tour production with my high school (which also had an insanely talented cast), but seeing this original recording last summer just brought back all of my excitement from the beginning of Hamilton, and it gave me so much joy to see you discover it for the first time now!! You did a great job of picking up on a lot of the musical motifs throughout, but I have listened to the soundtrack probably a hundred times and can still find new little things, so I'm sure you'll enjoy relistening to your favs! If you're curious, lots of the cast members actually have some original music, including Anthony Ramos (Laurens/Philip), Jasmine Cephas Jones (Peggy/Maria Reynolds), Leslie Odom Jr (Burr), and Daveed Diggs (Lafayette/Jefferson). Anthony Ramos is also playing Usnavi (the main character) in the upcoming In The Heights movie musical, which was also written by Lin! Also, if you're interested in seeing other filmed, live stage musicals like this one (rather than movie musicals), Disney+ has a filmed version of Newsies from 2017!

2021-05-08 00:35:27 +0000 UTCLoved watching this with you! I had (somehow) forgotten just how amazing this production is, and definitely ugly-cried for the last 30 minutes of it.

2021-05-08 00:04:04 +0000 UTCSo many thoughts! I'm a huge musical theater nerd and this just made my whole week! It was fantastic, you at the end was everyone ever watching this. Helpless/satisfied together is one of my favorite musical moments in history. Lin also has a musical called In The Heights, GW was in the original cast for it as well. The movie version with a new cast is out this summer and Phillip is playing the lead so its gonna rock. Angelica (Renée) was also a lead in the movie version of Rent which is a great classic musical if you want more of her. Her vocals in Rent rival satisfied. Also King George is the guy who voices Kristoff in frozen. Which is both fun and weird.

2021-05-07 22:24:59 +0000 UTCThis was fantastic. I'm so thrilled, getting to watch with you, who had no idea what to expect, was almost like getting to experience it for the first time again. When I started watching, I was so overwhelmed by the lyrics I had to go listen to the soundtrack and then go back to the show. You did a fantastic job, really loved this.

2021-05-07 20:31:13 +0000 UTCI'm glad you enjoyed this masterpiece of a musical, one of the greatest ever. It was huge in 2015 and 2016 when the original cast was there with tickets being over a thousand dollars just for one seat! I should know, me being one of the millions of people who tried to go see it live in 2016 before all the original cast members left to do other things. There's something magical about this group of people all together that nobody after them could ever hope to replicate, their energy and their chemistry with each other. It would have been a crime to not make this available to the public for everyone to see. I cried all those years ago when I thought I'd never get to see that day. I'm glad things worked out the way they did. Anyway, I completely agree with you, this is a much more fun way to absorb history I always hated that subject in school it was so borring. I wish I could have been one of the lucky classes that took a school trip to see Hamilton. I never got to see anything anywhere near that amazing while I was still in school. Helpless and Satisfied were my two favorite songs when a friend first introduced me to the soundtrack, and they were the songs that really got my attention and made me invested in the story with all its dramatic twists and turns. Phillipa Soo, the actress who played Eliza, actually graduated from Juliard, one of the most exclusive and hard to get into dream performance arts colleges. Christopher Jackson, the actor who played Washington, also went to a very prestigious performing arts school. Eliza, Angelica, Washington and Burr have my favorite voices in the musical, and I also love the power duo the girls made when they combined their voices in Take A Break. My favorite ensemble song was Nonstop, the big finale where everyone came together before the intermission. It brought together all the characters so beautifully with all of their different themes, and also Who Lives Who Dies Who Tells Your Story with Eliza was just the perfect way to end the musical. It's amazing how so very emotional this musical can get you when you least expect it, and it's really sad that Anthony Ramos had to die twice just when you are getting to love his characters, first with Laurens and then with Phillip Hamilton. I can't wait to see him in the In The Heights movie. That musical was another Miranda Masterpiece. All in all, this whole thing takes you on quite a ride. I don't know anyone who didn't shed at least a few tears during some point of this outstanding story.

2021-05-07 19:28:07 +0000 UTCThe whole soundtrack is just amazing. I had the pleasure and honor of seeing it live and immediately fell in love with the show and music. I've heard and seen It's Quiet Uptown a few times and always cry. Loved this.

2021-05-07 19:02:02 +0000 UTCI don’t know if anything *compares* to this, but Disney+ also has the stage production of Newsies which was really well done. The movie version with Christian Bale is also on Disney+, but the stage production is far superior, IMO.

2021-05-07 18:44:28 +0000 UTCAll the lyrics and music is written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. He read Hamilton's biography when he was on vacation and thought that his story embodied hip hop so he wanted to write a concept album based on it. He performed Alexander Hamilton (the song) on the White House in 2009 (there's the video on YouTube https://youtu.be/WNFf7nMIGnE) in front of the Obamas explaining his idea. Lin had already also written In the Heights that was a Tony Award winning musical (the movie based on the musical is coming this summer). Hamilton started off Broadway and then it went to Broadway in 2015 I think. It was extremely successful and it was known how expensive and how hard it was to get tickets. My sister introduced me to the musical early on and we were fans like so many people only with the soundtrack and small clips on youtube. There are also two Hamilton mixtapes including I think that remix with the Roots you saw at the end (I think they don't have anything other to do with the musical). It stayed on Broadway I'm pretty sure till last time Broadway was open before covid (with a different cast obviously) . There was a tour, a version in Chicago, in Puerto Rico where Lin is from, in the West End in London and now it's in Australia too. It has won so many awards and all that even before it was on Disney + as a movie. The movie I think is from two different performances. If you also know about Broadway they perform 8 times a week they would put this show every day sometimes twice a day and the actors have usually one off day a week with an understudy. There's so much more to say about the lyrics the story. It isn't completely historically accurate for it to work as a musical so Lin made some changes that you can look up. There so many full circle moment both in the lyrics and the music. I can go on and on. I highly recommend to watch videos about it on YouTube. 2021-05-07 16:43:03 +0000 UTCDon’t know if this is something you’d watch or you’ve seen it. The Disney film moana. Lin Manuel Miranda wrote the music and lyrics for the film. He’s so talented it’s insane. He’s also in “Mary poppins returns”. Not sure if that’s something you’d watch that either x
