They use prerecord during performances, so what? They still amazing singers, still performing live mainly. Prerecord and lip are different things, did you known?

That era was amazing and kind of made them who they are today in the industry. Going from that to LM5 was a drastic but super cool change for them and then coming back with Confetti makes their songs now even better if u ask me. For me personality this album only had 1 bad song, and thats oops i was not a fan of that (and beep but i dont even count that as a LM song...) but all others i still listen to almost every day. Nothing else matters really grew on me after having seen the MV for it, its such a sweet song they wrote to each other. thanks for the video, loved re-listening to this album with you and seeing your reactions. :)

Also, Jesy singing "I'm alone and all I want is to feel again" in Nobody lik you, hits sooo much harder after her Odd One Out documentary 😭

2021-05-24 07:00:09 +0000 UTCFinally is the word, love your reaction to it. You are right Glory Days is chock full of dance tunes and really heavy in the Latin and rhythm beats as well. Practically every other song has a strong samba/salsa beat to it. I was going to make a samba special with this album but then decided it would be boring to only have the one dance from Touch to Your Love, so ended up doing cha cha and hustle and swing and bachata and rumba to the mix as well when it comes to ballroom styles. But the production and the vocals are both incredibly well arranged and executed, and yes you should play the whole album in the club or a party and jam to every tune. The album does justice to its title as it is rich and upbeat and glorious to listen to, full of attitude, fun and confidence. Although the albums are done still there are so many live performances and MVs to listen to don't worry about content.

I wrote you on Instagram ages ago and was dying for you to hear this album - especially No More Sad Songs - it wasnt a MASSIVE hit but a definite fan favourite. Once you get to the music videos - Glory Days has the best and most epic until probably Confetti era. Lots of great loks and $$ thrown at them. Can you believe that they have never performed Is Your Love Enough? I'm really hoping they can at some point (granted without Jesy..). This album really was....their glory days. It was the biggest and most popular they had been at that point, and in North America they opened for Ariana Grande for her Dangerous Woman tour which is how I finally got to see them!!! Glory Days they were EVERYWHERE. They were very overworked as well, and on some performances you could hear the strain or the key changes but the girls managed always. LM5 had a lot of record label dramas and they didn't get to release and do as they wanted with it, however Confetti (even with Jesy now leaving) - feels like they are reaching a public high again.. Cant wait to see you do the GD videos, and dont forget Bounce Back! Thanks for your videos, the way you feel music is something I identify with so much and seeing your excitement over something like this album which was so important to me is just so incredible. Sending hugs you are a kind soul. AH but please dont miss their Brit Awards performances too!

2021-05-24 02:35:23 +0000 UTCJust so you know, the gritty voice you were raving over in Freak was not Leigh, it was Jade. She has such an amazing voice with lots of layers to it. There was a couple of other times that you mixed up the two girls. They really do sound similar, so you have to be careful. That's why sometimes it's good to react to lyric videos that show which girl is singing what. The only voices you can never mix up are Jesy and Perrie because they are so distinct to who they are. Just unmistakable. My favorite songs from this album are Your Love, If I Get My Way and Nobody Like You, and honestly I just prefer the versions of the other songs without the features. Little Mix just does so much better on their own. Cutting the bridges of No More Sad Songs, Power and Touch are criminal.

I want to start by saying I can’t believe this album didn’t make them a breakout hit in the US. It seems like it was produced for the American market. Some of the songs got a bit of radio play and they did some promo on a few talk shows, but Touch should’ve been a huge hit here. I also want to say I hate the way this album is organized. I wish they had kept the original track list order and added the remixes and new songs after that. Also if nothing else was changed Touch with Kid Ink and original Touch should be swapped in the order. Touch is a brilliant pop song. But the version with the feature is the only Little Mix song I don’t have. I heard it once (not including reactions) and that was enough for me. Also it’s criminal to remove the bridge from Touch. And the difference between the original songs and the ones with features is they remove the bridges of those songs to add the feature. Stormzy is great. He’s such a big supporter of the girls, and he always praises them. I’ve been waiting for you to hear Leigh-Anne’s high notes in Your Love since you first said how much you love her. The features were added when the songs became singles. Charlie Puth was the only feature on the original version of the album. Thank you for showing Dear Lover some much needed appreciation. It’s so underrated.

I'm not super into a lot of the collabs either, but I really liked MGK on NMSS, Stormzy on Power, and Saweetie on Confetti. Charlie sounds good, but Oops doesn't feel like a LM song to me, and it doesn't sound like the girls had a good time working with him, if you hear them talk about it in interviews lol I think the general consensus is that Beep Beep isn't... very popular lol The girls sound great on Freak and I really want to like it, but there's a really weird siren effect or something that I really don't like. You're going to love the music videos for this era! Great reaction, Michael, thanks for uploading!

Glory Days was released as a standard version and deluxe version in 2016 without the features except Charlie Put (we don't like him because he hinted on Jade while she was in a relationship, he couldn't handle her rejection and he denied knowing Little Mix even though he performed live with them) on the Deluxe Version was the Get Weird Tour movie. In 2017 Little Mix had over 100 concerts and was extremely overworked like during the end of the tour their voices (especially Jade's voice) were so damaged. They had a "one album per year" contract so they re-released Glory Day's as a Platinum Edition with the added features, Is Your Love Enough, Dear Lover, If I get My Way and the Documentary on their 2017 (you should check it out, it really shows how overworked they've been in 2017). Also you definitely should check out Your Love live, because Leigh just blew everybody away. I'm watching this on the 24th of May, 2021 and on the 24th of May, 2017 I actually went to my Glory Days Tour date still trying to recover from Leigh during Your Love, also Nobody Like You live.
