Loved your reaction to Seb’s singing…Joe Serafini is amazing! And to make it even better, he and Carlos (Frankie Rodriguez) are actually dating in real life and have been together for 2 years. When they filmed Joe performing, they actually filmed it with only Frankie and Joe on set. Joe wanted it to be a surprise for Frankie! Then he performed it again for everyone and they used cuts from both.

Fun little fact since I saw nobody has mentioned it, Frankie (Carlos) and Joe (Seb) are actually dating off screen. They are literally adorable. Also, I feel like Gina and EJ would be a cute couple. I mean he helped her come back for the show. I hope they build more on it, because you can tell EJ cares about her. Oh and when it comes to Nini and the show, I think she wanted to be in it, but knew it was already casted and she wouldn't want to ruin that. So she only said she could focus on other things like her own music as a distraction to not feeling left out.

I know I'm the only one, but whenever I see Ashlyn's outfit in this episode I just can't stop questioning it. That pink dress with polka dots is so gorgeous. I myself have a similar one, but why did someone choose to put a random grey jumper under it? It just clashes so much and makes no sense to me. I know it doesn't matter, but I just can't unsee it

I think many forget to realize why Ricky is so clingy. In season 1 he didn’t know how to be affectionate. That was the reason for Nini and his’s(probably not grammatically correct haha) breakup. They also mention how he’s like that because his parents weren’t like that so he didn’t know what being affectionate meant. In the first episode of season 2, Ricky mentions that he will never breakup with Nini again. I believe he is so clingy because he feels like he has to be over affectionate because what he did in the pass was too little.

In terms of the Gina and Ricky thing, Gina liked him romantically. They got close not only as friends but it was more than that- at least for Gina. So why would you want your crush to only come to you when they’re having issues with their significant other. It was inappropriate for Ricky. I mean, he has other friends. So to only talk to Gina about specifically Nini, was a little messed up. I’m happy she stood up for herself. Anyway, Seb and Carlos are so cute 😩. The way seb sung the climb made me tear up a bit. And we finally got a Seblos kiss ✨😩

No Gina was definitely talking about pushing Ricky to going back to the show and Nini on opening night. She only did that cause she thought she would leave and never see them again.

I just went back to the scene with Kourtney and they were talking about the opening night so I'm 100% sure it is the fact she encouraged him to go back and watch the rest of the show with her. The car scene happened on homecoming.

My little teenage heart flourished when your recognized Miley "the climb" so fast... I realized it when he started playing it the first cord and then stopped to talk, lol Miley was my obsession as a 14 year old... and the climb is one of my all time fav songs because of the meaning behind it

I agree, it's definitely not just the friendship she is upset with. The scene with Kourtney where she said she regrets doing something she did - she was referring to when she encouraged Ricky to go back and watch the show finale, which led to Nini to go to him and his role of Troy got reprised last-minute, and essentially catapulting them getting back together.

it's def gina having feelings for ricky, not just being upset about the friendship. all season one, like she told kourtney she put herself out there, but obv gets nothing in return since nini and ricky got back together, and is just struggling to navigate that bc her feelings never got any resolve or closure

I can only imagine that they put Seb singing “The Climb” in the second season because Miley had a small cameo at the end of the second HSM movie as like an Easter egg of some kind? XD

I'm all for Gina and Ej being besties & I think that's what the writers are setting up, but I do agree that the way they framed those scenes made it seems kinda romantic on Ej's part. I don't see them romantically tho bc Ashlyn, Carlos, & Seb are in the same grade as Gina & Ej has called Ashlyn young & Carlos a kid. So it would really weird on the writers part to pair them romantically lmao. Gina just needs someone to talk to honestly & I like the possibility of an almost sibling dynamic between her & Ej To clear up the age thing, Gina, Ashlyn, Carlos & Seb are Sophomores. Ricky, Nini, Red, & Kourtney are Juniors. Ej is a senior Sofia Wylie & Joe Serafini truly were the MVPS of the episode.
