Some of these tracks are very reminiscent of 90’s to very early 2000’s R&B!!! I am soooo here for it. I have to say, and I’ve said it before, it’s a lot more enjoyable listening to new music with you especially that we mostly have similar taste in music. Thought i’d share my top songs: Do It, Busy Boy, Rest of Your Life, and I never realized that Dont Make It Harder On Me and Wonder What She Thinks of Me have already been in my spotify library + rotation for a while?????

Fyi, Forgive Me also has an mv you can check out, and I also felt the same way about the guy's beginning part in Catch Up in that I don't care for it. As soon as Halle comes in with that angel voice, it definitely gives the song the new life it badly needed. I'm actually shocked that you haven't seen their Tiny Desk at home concert before, it's a must-see, non-negotiable to the point that if you don't watch it on your own I'm prepared to make it my request for July. Let me clue you about what you'll be in for. First off, the whole performance is about 19 minutes consisting of 5 songs from this album and featuring a live, all female band. In order, they perform Don't Make It Harder On Me, Baby Girl, Do It, Ungodly Hour and Wonder What She Thinks Of Me, and let me just say that hearing the first and last songs especially live, those vocals are just no joke, next level, fan-fucking-tastic unbelievable out of this world amazing. I mean, just seeing how excited you got over Don't Make It Harder On Me, hearing it live with extra added harmonies might just make you break your computer or something, so be aware of that going in.
