What’s extra cool about this for me (aside from Olivia’s greatness ofc) is that I know of and a fan of half of her dancers, so this is like one of those disney teen/tween shows in the early 2000s having a crossover episode!! You could just imagine how I freaked out when the dancers started coming in. Also, she has a short behind the scenes somewhere on youtube (not on her channel) and I think they mentioned there somewhere that the field scenes were day 2, so there are cuts, sadly.

2021-07-02 01:09:35 +0000 UTCThis was such a good concert, I really felt like I was there live 😍also, I think the folks who had faces blocked out in the credits were the prom dates of the people who worked on this production. Like the person whose face isn't blocked out worked on the production, and they're posting their old prom photo, but their old high school date probably didn't want / didn't agree to having their face on this video.

So much went into this production and I have to point out the symbolism: - Enough for You performance, the photolab room that she is in is filled with fan-submitted prom pictures, so when she sings "someday I'll be everything to somebody else", it's almost a symbolic reference that she is already surrounded by people who love her. - Jealousy, jealousy - the crowd starts pulling her down at the end and I thought it was such a powerful thing to show how jealousy can be so overwhelming and toxic if you let it consume you (so she fights back!) - At the credits when hope ur ok plays - the director wanted to make this an inclusive prom (theres great representation for POC/members of LGBTQ+ community) and people involved in this film have mentioned the prom that they had wasn't great/they didn't feel accepted, so this kind of a nod that everything turned out alright. On top of all the things she did leading up to the prom premiere, she also bought prom dresses for the fans she invited for the viewing and gave them corsages 😭she's truly one of a kind!
