Monthly Update

I needed to have a little break after creating the last scene and to take stock of where I’m heading.
In the last few weeks, I've been working on several things.
- Coming up with Stories/Scenarios
There are some fun ones in the pipeline.
I’ve been working on scripts but will need to organise voiceovers. - Collecting 1000s 3d models
Including furniture & props, these will help create more immersive environments and scenarios. - Developing Looks, Sculpting & Micro Details
- I’ve been spending more time in zbrush creating looks/morphs. I’ve got some multi-channel face scans I’m testing for creating displacement/normal maps which could add some nice realism.
- I’d like to animate some genital morphs to get some more realism as well :) - Scene Experiments
- I’ve been working on a new scene with more interactivity. I liked how StudyBuddy had poses and interactive audio. So have been testing scenes with various plugins. I need to get some better sound fx too.
- Scene Template, I’ve created a stripped-down version of Vampiress Hunter to use as a base this should save me some time in construction.
… so mainly groundwork, but it will all help to create better scenes.
Thanks again to my Patrons for sticking with me! I'm aiming to create more scenes this year that hopefully keep pushing the medium further.

"Although I am a little jealous of creators who just do that as in some ways it's easier, especially in regards to getting patrons" Yeah, which is big part of why I generally don't subscribe to looks-creators - they don't need me. And as long as Damarmau is publishing breathtaking looks for free ... sometimes I find it hard not to leave nasty comments with some ppl who feel their stuff deserves payment. Plus my budget is limited, and I spend it where I feel I & the community get the most benefit. Which is plugin-devs and scene creators.

2022-02-01 05:37:31 +0000 UTCHi Case, thanks for the comment. No need to worry, my focus will always be on scenes, skins/looks are important and definitely I want to keep improving these. I think the character is where the magic is but not everything. Although I am a little jealous of creators who just do that as in some ways it's easier, especially in regards to getting patrons. On another note Acidbubbles should be including some hand toggles in the next version of embody so won't need to use any custom profiles.

2022-02-01 01:48:09 +0000 UTCThx for the update! Sounds promising - I'd just ... urge you to be careful with ze ZBrush. It seems to ... exert a "pull" of its own - I've watched another great creator go from "scene creator with a sideline in skin creation" go to "mainly looks creator", which I found a little sad (mind you, the skins are great - but not really what I signed up for back in the day)
