Design progress for my Characters

Hey,

Today I finally got the main character designed for the upcoming film. This was something I really needed to get done to get going with the animation. I am excited to work on some of the first shots including the final characters. The second guy still needs an outfit design, so that is whats next, but I am hoping to put out some episodes in the near future about the animation process of these guys.

I think this style will work well with my background art and I am also hoping its not too detailed to shut me down completely in the animation process.

Fun fact, the jacket he is wearing is heavily inspired by professional climber Jimmy Webb's collaboration clothing series with HippyTree. Basically since these guys in my film are climbers I thought it would be cool if they were wearing some clothes actually recognisable in the climbing community.

I really want the film to contain some reference from real life, so that if you were really into the subject matter of climbing (like I am), you could find these easter eggs and appreciate those hidden details.
