Art Patron Wallpaper December 2020
Added 2020-12-31 19:44:16 +0000 UTCSo I've had this idea to perhaps work on a series of high quality prints for the Console Wars, starting at the very first generation and working forward through each subsequent generation. The idea would be that someone who was so inclined could collect some (or all) of these pieces to show the Console War through the generations.
Today I present to you, my esteemed Art Enthusiasts, The First Generation. While the first generation saw over 100 home consoles battling it out on the consumer market, I've chosen to focus on the three most popular and successful; the Atari Pong, the Nintendo Color TV Game 6, and the Magnavox Odyssey.
While I've yet to decide if I'll offer these printed individually, or wait until I've completed a few and offer them as a set, you are the first to see the inaugural generation of the Console War.

2021-01-01 12:36:20 +0000 UTCWell, that's not a question I need to answer until the 9th (current) generation of consoles. If by then Nintendo hasn't announced any new entry into the 9th generation, perhaps it will just be the Ps5 vs Series X, I dunno. The WiiU and Switch do overlap/split the 8th generation, so Im sure I can figure something out.

2020-12-31 23:34:38 +0000 UTCI already have your art framed, especially with the three recruitment posters you’ve made a while back, I would love to have all generations of consoles posters. One question though: what about the switch not being considered by some not to be the new Gen console?
