See, it's the same problem Robert Jordan had with these middle books...The world has gotten so expansive that in order to keep up with all the characters and action everything seems to slow down. The good news is that the next stage is bringing everything back together so i'm hoping the next books (if he ever completes the 7th) are really going to snap!
