TVD 5x04 REACTION (Early Access)

I 100 percent agree with you juli! elena needs to stop toying around with stefan, she knows how much he has been through and after like 4 seasons or something of deciding she finally chose damon, so why the hell did she do this to stefan! after 8 seasons i think this was one of the worst episodes for her character. unlike everyone else i loved the plot of season 5, I'm not going to spoil anything but i love it personally, just like every other season of tvd there are twists and just amazing plots, the only thing i don't really like about this season is the drag of the love triangle! but everything else was so cool! btw i love seeing this human, dorky, fragile side of katherine, its amazing, but she still is a sassy queen!

I'm behind on my watching, I've just seen your episode 5x03 reaction and you asked for an explanation about dopplegangers and the Originals. Here's an non-spoilery explanation: Tessa's spell which made Silas and Amara immortal created the existence of Dopplegangers in balance. Dopplegangers are a rare supernatural event. In Season 3, episode 5 'Bringing out the Dead' Elijah and Klaus explained that they both loved a doppleganger named Tatia and that her blood was in the wine that Esther gave them before Mikael killed them to make them vampires. So..Esther uses the blood of dopplegangers as ingredients in her spells- to make the Original vampires, to curse Klaus so he wouldn't be a hybrid, to bind her family together 'As One' so she could try to kill them. Great content each day so far Juli! I’m really enjoying it. I myself was really annoyed with Elena when I first watched this episode. But watching it again now has given me a new perspective. I think that the real Elena is just naturally flirty. When we first meet her she is depressed over her parents death then we never noticed it before because the only interaction with men that she had was first with Matt, whom she had just broken up with and she knew he was still in love with her and upset about the breakup so they barely talked, then with Stefan who she did flirt with and date. Then with Damon, which again no one can deny that she flirted with Damon even when she was with Stefan. Klaus who was constantly just trying to use her as a blood bag for hybrids. And Tyler who was a hybrid and was dating Caroline, her best friend. Because of the love triangle we never noticed that it is just Elena’s personality to be naturally flirty. I don’t think she would ever actually cheet on Damon but at the beginning of the season when she first goes to college even you kept saying to her that she has a boyfriend! Haha. We have just never seen this side of her because she has never had any male interaction with anyone who wasn’t trying to kill her or who wasn’t hurting over her breaking up with them and she said so many times at the beginning of the show that the character we saw wasn’t herself and she was depressed over her parents dying and she kept saying that she used to be more fun. I hope this made sense lol.

So true!!!! This is such a bad episode for Elena bc she is playing with the love both f them.have for her. It's like she can't let Stefan go bc she likes the attention he gives her! I hate that!

For me this wasn't about Stelena. I am not mad about them. I am mad about Elena dragging poor Stefan to remember he loved her just to tell him that she is now in love with his brother. That was awful! Because Stefan doesn't deserve this! Elena should have been honest. Tell him how much they loved each other but that things happened and now she is in love with Damon. It's like Elena likes to toy with Stefan and I care about Stefan sm I hate to see him suffer. I said this on the review part. Of course during the reaction I was mad bc Elena was about to cheat on Damon and I don't like that. Stelena WAS and will always be epic. They are part of the fabric of this show and I don't hate that. I recognize how epic they and I for no reason get annoyed by them. Idk if you remember but when Stelena were together I didn't want Elena to keep Damon around and toy with him. And now I don't want Elena to do that with Stefan either. I will be honest I ship Delena so hard that I will be sad if Stelena get back together but I will never dish on the ship or Stefan. But I will have serious comments about Elena. She can't keep going back and forth with the brothers like that.

It's not about Delena or stelena. It's about elena and I absolutely agree with you Juli. I'm a delena fan but this was the part when I started to hate her a little. I didn't really understand the hate at first because I understood why she cared for both of them and I felt like it was normal. But here is one of her worst moments as a character for sure

I totally agree with your opinion on elena this episode what she did was so stupid. Stefan’s been through enough. & I love the stefan /caroline scene where he says he’s there for her. I love their friendship so much.

I love your reaction juli and I understand you ship Delena and I have nothing against it but you have to understand that Stelena is still a big part of the show and their love was epic and that you can't get annoyed if they are in the show. I do however agree with you that what Elena did was wrong because Stefan didn't even know she was with Damon! I love Stefan so much and i think he is underrated!

I got really annoyed with Elena in this episode and I'm not even a Delena fan. Honestly, I hate Delena. Still, she chose to be with Damon and yet she decides to pull Stefan along like a dog. And seriously how self centered is she that she thinks that he will get his memory back just by remembering his time with her? Like seriously? Elena has this need to be the center of everyone's universe and its the most irritating thing ever. Not everything is about you girl.
