Glad you're loving the show Juli. It's truly a masterpiece and one of my favorite shows on television. As we move forward, you will continue to see why we love Klaus so much. He indeed is my favorite Original and his complexity is one of the reasons why I empathize and feel for his character. Many in the comment section have spoke for why we love him so much so I'll just leave it at that. In regards to this episode, it's one of my favorites this season because we get some of Davina's backstory. Personally, I like her character (whereas others might not) but I believe as you continue watching you'll be able to form your own full opinion about her probably after the first season. Keep it up with the reactions!

2018-02-18 06:48:36 +0000 UTCI figured out something. In the previous episode Elijah said something about how if the dagger is removed for a moment and then placed back it looses it's power. But on tvd Klaus undaggered and redaggered both Kol and Rebekah and they didn't wake up. Am I missing something or did the writers just forget? π€

He is such a compelling and interesting character. Funny story, he was supposed to die in season 3 of TVD but Joseph Morgan is such a great actor that they couldnβt let go of him. One of the things I really like is how the writers are handling Klaus. They are still keeping him true to his character but just giving us glimpses of his humanity instead of forcing things, if that makes sense? They are not trying to turn him into some kind of hero just because he is the lead of the show because that wouldnβt be believable. But like we saw in the last episode, he is capable of being kind. Its not easy when he was raised to believe that kindness was a weakness. Its sad how hard it is for him to connect and you can see it in that scene where he just points at Hayleyβs stomach and says βthatβ . I donβt think the realization that he is going to be a father has hit him just yet. He tries so hard to suppress his emotions and just wants to focus on tactics and scheming and things he understands. Also, I love how different this is from the vampire diaries. It has a different feel to it and at the same time you can tell that it is all part of the same universe. There is so much focus on family in this show and the things people are willing to do for family and I just love it. Even though Iβm not a fan of Davina I really felt for her in this episode. What the witches did to her was f*ched up. Also, this was the episode where I changed my mind about Marcel because I understood where he was coming from. Canβt wait for the next episode!
