Yeah, a lot of people, to this day, still think the mist kills humans and I'm like, "Uh, they explained that a long time ago. The mist is harmless. The Diviner metal is deadly to humans." Maybe it's because a lot of them are reactors and sometimes they may talk over the explanations.

2018-03-19 19:22:19 +0000 UTCJuli, something to be sure you know / noticed / realize so as to prevent confusion in the future. Tripp was NOT turned to stone by the "mist" that came from the crystal. What happened was that when he kicked it, it broke and part of the outside metal case stabbed into him. This point has caused a lot of confusion. The mist is harmless to normal people like Tripp it is the metal part that turns normal people to stone.

As for Trip - if he had just let the process take its course, he would still be alive. But he thought he was saving Skye so he went out like he lived - a hero.
