Jaiyang doesn't need to take Cal's concoction. He takes it 'cause he ISN'T Inhuman, she has a healing factor. It's how she stays young, so even if Gonzalez had of shot her, she would've healed. She healed from cut apart and having her blood and organs removed. Basically, I think her Inhuman ability is longevity so that she'd be a teacher of Inhumans for generations.
