2018-05-24 03:09:58 +0000 UTCAbout the symbol on Will's equipment - it's apparently a variation of the same one that was on the chamber in the castle where people were sent through the monolith. In 3x02, you saw those men sitting around a table and drawing lots to see who got sent - this was apparently a secret society that has been working with the monolith for centuries and somehow infiltrated NASA. There was a mention last season about a certain organization that has been looking for this monolith, as well. The same people, maybe?
