2018-06-08 20:47:23 +0000 UTCThis episode opened so many doors for the show, I loved it! 3 things: 1- Freya had already been mentioned before as the sister who had died of plague, Klaus even says that when Herink died, Esther could not stand the loss of ANOTHER child. 2- You have to remember that they were all of a lineage of witches before they became vampires (though I think only Kol really cared about being a witch), so Freya was also a witch, so she could be on the other side . 3 - I love this last scene so much, Klaus explosion shows how much he has suffered with the distance of his daughter and that he thinks about her all the time and she is the reason he keeps fighting, just a remark: Dahlia speaks to Esther, one of the most powerful witches we know of, and she says, "Your power is nothing against mine!" I had shivers in this scene hahahaha

2018-06-08 19:43:17 +0000 UTCYou did hear about Freya before. Not by name though. Elijah told Elena in season 2 of TVD, that their mother had 7 children and one died during the plague (or something like that, Esther lied aboui it). It was just one sentence, I think.
