2018-06-14 13:54:29 +0000 UTCI think that the show established Daisy's fondness for Lincoln all the way back in Season 2. He helped her understand her powers, gave her hope, and explained a lot of things to her. Their both being inhuman is a connection also. In season 2 Daisy was visibly upset when Lincoln was taken by Hydra, and when she was able to save him was very relieved. They showed a few times Daisy staying by his bedside while he recovered at Shield more than she was with the Shield people. In the season 2 Finale she was getting thru to him by talking. Also people forget there was a full 6 month time period between seasons 2 and 3, and there are hints that Lincoln and Daisy saw each other during that time. You can see during different scenes in season 3 how much Daisy cares about Lincoln. They appeared to have stayed in touch at least by phone the whole time. I like the relationship a lot and i think Daisy deserves some happiness and she is happy with Lincoln.

2018-06-13 23:54:24 +0000 UTCLincoln almost killing Creel was explained in the episode as not so much him not following the mission, but struggling with controlling his powers. You see a couple of times his hands spark when he gets upset, like when he was arguing with Daisy. When he looked at his hands afterwards and you asked, "What?" right before that his hands sparked when he said, "Not all of us hack our way through life." With the pressures of the real world on him, he has poor impulse control with his powers and possibly has anger issues. He did say he's an alcoholic.
