You can do what you said but you have to go by air dates again when you're on season 3 of TO since it has the biggest crossover and that's literally it.

I don’t really watch your Vampire Diaries reactions because I actually stopped watching the show once the Originals left and had their own show 😅 but I will start watching VD again once the current season of TO is over. So yes, five episodes of TO a week and five of VD is ok with me.
