Totally random, but who in the hell approved that preview that's basically the entire next episode? Like, what?

We know that people high up in the governments are part of this organization (The 12), but I was thinking that it's possible they could all just be members of the intelligent agencies that have gotten together and been like, "With all the stuff we know, we could run EVERYTHING," and then the decide to control things from the shadows. So, the intelligence agents we've seen may know each other, but may not be part of it. The 12 are controlling key players, I think.

2018-07-01 05:39:49 +0000 UTCI agree with the three other commentors (Shaun, Nat and Dan) in that Niko was speaking in a figure of speech, albeit harshly because he was scared, but he wasn't speaking literally. He meant she was getting off on feeling important, feeling special and losing herself in that. She actually is losing herself so he wasn't wrong, but it's possible that she had these secret interests for a while and he just never knew. They're just coming out now. Many times people talk about how people they think they know have now changed, but we never truly know anyone and sometimes parts of them come out later that we just never knew about before.

Like this (catching an assassin) is exciting and intoxicating. He said that she was "going down on yourself", have you ever heard someone say "sucking your own dick"? It's like thinking you're so good / bragging about yourself.

2018-06-20 23:15:34 +0000 UTCNiko wasn't the nicest saying what he did in their fight, but he was right which is why Eve reacted so viscerally, so violently, despite her not being a violent person. It struck a nerve. "She wants me to find her" "do you need me to hold your hair while you go down on yourself?" Meaning she's flattering herself, she's sure V is interested in her in more than a she's-the-cop-leading-my-case way, which we know to be true but Eve doesn't actually know that. "You're not saving the world, you're getting off sniffing on a psycho" this isn't in the sexual way, not necessarily, but it is the truth for sure in a nonsexual way. Eve likes looking for V, that's why she's risked so much time and time again.

I'd say Villanelle is obsessed with Eve but so is Eve with Villanelle, without a doubt and maybe even more so than Villanelle herself. Eve had been obsessively researching Villanelle on a hunch, then when they finally met she risked everything without a second thought, her job, her life, her friends, her husband... for Villanelle the obsession turned sexual, because, well, she is a psychopath, they have issues with emotions in general but sexuality is easy to feel and so they tend to interpret strong emotions as sexual desire and get sexual gratification from things that wouldn't be sexual for your usual neurotypical. Villanelle's obsession with Eve doesn't surprise in the slightest. She has great hair, she's smart and she doesn't seem to be all that afraid of her. Eve's obsession however? Now that's messed up and fascinating. If you rewatch the show you'll notice how much Eve is interested in V, not guilty murderer V that she needs to catch but human being V that she wants to know. She wants to know who she is, she likes their cat and mouse game, and most importantly, she wants V to be obsessed with her in return. She likes V's attention and she boasts about it unconsciously; when she's in the car with Elena and Frank and V is shooting at them but Eve stops the car to go talk to her, she says something along the lines of "She wants to see me". No she doesn't Eve, she's here to do her job which is to kill Frank. In this very episode, 6, Eve says that Oksana connected with her and that she knows Oksana. She fights with her husband because of V, because V "wants me to find her". There's more examples of this in future episodes. All of that sounds to me like an unconscious "I really want her to like me back so I'll speak it into existence in case it's not true yet" It's totally sexual for V, not for Eve, but the lines are blurring there. They started to blur when she put on V's perfume and wore her dress, they've been blurring more this episode where she wants to meet and know more about V even though Carolyn's instructions are to get to the twelve. V is just a pawn, not what they're interested in. But Eve doesn't care. We see this in the interview with Nadia and when Eve talks behind everyone's back to Vladimir. Again this obsessive behaviour is seen more in future episodes. Eve is afraid of V, she almost hates her for what she did to Bill, but she's obsessed with her. I'm not sure if she wants V, but she definitely wants V to want her.
