The opening scene is one of the reasons I dont like Dany. One second shes asking Jon not to judge her based on her fathers actions then the next second she is judging Jon based on the actions of his 'father' and ancestors. She was so hypocritical at that moment. Also, in regards to Jon bending the knee, there is 2 issues with this. 1) Even if Jon bends the knee, the Northern Lords probably wont do the same. Jon's claim to King is tenuous as he is not a legitimate Stark. If he does this and they disagree, they could overthrow him and crown Sansa or Bran instead. The North has always been vocally against the rule of the Iron Throne. 2) Robb, Jon's brother/cousin, died fighting for Northern Independence and so the North wouldnt have to answer to the Iron Throne. If Jon bends the knee and gives the North back to the Seven Kingdoms, then Robb would have died for nothing. Sorry for the big paragraph. I had a lot of thoughts on this.

2018-07-09 21:38:10 +0000 UTCI hated this episode. Well, okay, just the ending. But the Queen of Thorns went out like a BOSS!!! RIP, Lady Olenna. One of my all-time favorite GoT characters. :(
