This is a tough season to watch, especially this episode. Both the Mack/Daisy talk and Daisy confronting Hive make for really powerful drama. (On a lighter note, I predicted you would melt down when Fitz picked up the crucifix.)

Her entire mind was compromised and her dopamine levels moved into extreme happiness because of Hive's control. She also physically went thru the ringer and is physically compromised and an addict. That the writers let the protagonist be that real and not be over her addiction that quickly and her source is right there in front of her. Major kudos to the writers. You have to feel for her and understand. All her life has been a search for her family. for belonging, for connection. And Hive offered her everything she wanted. Plus it is an addiction. As for who the person is who dies, the hot potato necklace and jacket was so cliche and yet done so well. It had us all anxious and screaming at the screen. Next episode is amazing. Absolutely perfect. Your reactions are so great. Oh and the way Mack treats Daisy as his little sister, so protective. And Melinda May is just fantastic. Her insights into all the characters and their motivations, her flying the Zephyr underwater, and her fight against all the Ronalds. Queen Melinda.

2018-07-18 16:22:53 +0000 UTCI feel so sorry for daisy, its so heartbreaking to watch. with daisy she's not herself yet. she is still struggling with symptoms of hives sway and stuff which is why she had to stay locked up while the effects are still with her. also this is more intense withdrawals than any other drug so mix that with all her pain, guilt and emptiness also with hives effect not yet gone... you could see it happening. which is really sad and heart breaking to see. if you actually look back at her face and emotions when she was talking to Coulson you can actually see how much it was effecting her. when mack was leaving her withdrawal and craving was all over her face. the hot potato with the necklace makes me so nervous. as always great reaction!
