I'm a big fan of WWE Games, starting with WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2006 on PS2 (I played all the wwe games released on PS2, Xbox 360 & PC).
In addition to Battles, I always spent more time in the character editor)). and with each new game I expected progress in gameplay and graphics, but where to get progress if every year they sell the same game with minor improvements...like DLC. (I won't even comment about FIFA fans, they buy the same game, only with a different cover:))) ). Itβs better to release a new Game in 2-3 years, BUT IT'S JUST BUSINESS.
Of the latest games in the series, I liked WWE2k23 the most, collected the best that came out before (finally custom characters look almost like the original wwe superstars, they improved the skin textures, I was waiting for this from wwe2k20 on PC).
Judging by the trailer wwe2k24 it will be like a big Dlc for wwe2k23...(physics and terrible hair textures have not gone away, low-poly boobs remain too, LOW-RES for non official attires Clothing textures) again +60$)). in the hope that the new game will be cooler than the previous one)).
For so many years they have not yet learned how to do a good Muscle contraction even in cutscenes (this is easy to do, need create a separate normal map with veins-muscles, and with a certain animation, on mesh texture is superimposed with veins and muscle textures) the game still has normal maps for facial expressions, but Along the way, the developers are too lazy to do this. Even arcade games like Tekken8 have something like this))

It would be cool and realistic, when lifting an opponent or when PIN, Submission - muscle contractions are visible (ONLY for Batista, John Cena, Rock etc.)
What do you think? Adding a few new Superstars and a couple of battle modes is something you look forward to every year?
