I'm not going to go into detail about the elena playing both brothers thing because I already did and this is pre-recorded, So lemme just say I don't like Stefan and Rebekah together and I ship them with different people so I don't mind Elena judging them but I just wish the sow wouldn't make her so annoying with it. My favorite characters are always the ones who can hide their pain and play off cool but Elena is so over-dramatic that's why I can't wait for episode... Nah you have to wait. It sounds bad but I would prefer if Elena bottled up her feelings sometimes because even though this Stefan and Rebekah this is mostly because of Elena it's not her place to judge him.

Also I can't help but feel so sad watching Kol die. Before I didn't love Kol's character much but after watching a certain show (cough cough won't try to spoil it but those who know what I'm talking about know what I mean) I cringe every time I see him killed. I love my baby Kol so much. I'm sure you will too as we move forward and will think back to this episode and be like "Omg I can't believe I didn't like him before." Trust me. Also yay! Love seeing my baby Rebekah have some fun with Stefan. I shipped them once. But I ship Rebekah with a different TVD character and you'll see why moving forward. Also Delena! Aww that hug gets me every time. I love them so much. And Jeremy taking his shirt off... just yes. He looks so good. Great review on the episode. I agree with you on so many points you made. Looking forward to your next reaction!

2017-11-30 04:08:55 +0000 UTCThat is true and i like that not all of the characters are good/bad because they do have to make difficult decisions. If I were Elena and I had to choose between my brother and Kol I would have done the same. What bothers me about Elena and Jeremy in this case is how they act like they didn't have a choice and are putting themselves in some kind of moral high ground when they actually did have a choice. They could have daggered Kol and Jeremy could have killed the vampires that Klaus handed to him. They made the decision to kill Kol and in turn kill an entire line of vampires because they wanted to get to the cure faster and because in a way Elena wanted to rid herself of two originals in the process by also having Stefan dagger Rebekah. If that was their plan, fine. Great that it worked and they got their map. But be honest about it. Stop making excuses and telling Klaus that they didn't have a choice because they planned this entire thing carefully.

But I like your point bc they as characters think they are better than the others. For instance, Elena and/or Jeremy think that Kol's live is not as important as their lives and the lives of thousands of vampires are less important than theirs. BUT when Rebekah, Damon or even Klaus think the same BUT they think their lives are not important THEY are called the bad guys. They all make mistakes and they ALL are selfish in their own ways when they try to protect what they love and they should be a little more understanding bc everyone at one point have had to make a decision like this.

2017-11-30 03:47:14 +0000 UTCShow constantly confirms that none of these characters are truly good it's not black or white and Elena is not perfect calling her selfish can go for every character on this show who has killed to get something they either want or to protect people they love and truthfully Kol brought this on himself he had a chance to leave yet he barges in the door acting cocky as if he can't be killed just because he's an original.

Jeremy claims that he doesn’t want to kill innocent people but what he really meant was that he doesn’t want to have to look at a vampire in the eye when he kills them. No, he’d rather just have them die somewhere else. Very brave. elena also said she didn't want Jeremy to have to sacrifice innocent people. What was the difference between the vampires Klaus turned and the ones they just slaughtered? Just try to picture someone like Elena on a romantic date with her Damon and then she just watches him desiccate and there is ABSOLUTELY nothing she can do about it. How awful is that? Thousands of vampires died and some of them were good like Caroline and like Stefan. I’m sorry but that was incredibly selfish.
