I'm back! Update + Schedule! PLEASE READ THIS ;)

Hey guys! First, thank you so much for all the lovely messages and comments. I want to let you know that Josh is doing ok. We had a doctors appointment this past week with his psychiatrist and it didn't go as I planned I guess.

Josh lately is been a lot more obsessed with the things he likes which is his collection of minions and calendars. He goes in a loop every time he talks about those and he sometimes find it hard to sleep because he keeps thinking about it. He has his tantrums but they are not as often as before but they still happen once in a while. Same goes with self harm, it still happens but not as often as before. In the last 2 months he had them maybe 3 or 4 times which is an improvement since it use to happen pretty much everyday and sometimes a lot of times during the day.

BUT his obsessions are getting out of hand, so his doctor decided to change his meds. He is not longer going to use the Methylphenidate hydrochloride (Ritalin) and she changed the Fluoxetine for Sertraline 50mg, also he is now going to take a higher dose of Aripiprazole during the night to help him sleep better and the Topiramate is changing to twice a day.

So this is the reason why I haven't post lately and why next week you guys will have 1 reaction per day instead of 2 like before.

Why? Because all this changes are going to have an impact on his behavior and I need to report those things to the doctor when I see her again next month. So I need to check on him a lot more so I can write the changes on his behavior. So far the pills make him sleepy and he doesn't talk much.

Also during this few days I've been out buying the things he needs and asking another doctor's opinion about the pill so that's why I haven't been able to post anything mostly because I was out and also because I was worried. My mom use to take Sertraline and it didn't help her like it should and she had a bad reaction to it, so I'm kinda worried about that because I don't anything bad happening to Josh.

You guys know how much I love my son and even tho I don't completly agree with him taking meds they have been my only solution to control his behavior, specially about the self-harm issue because it breaks my heart when he starts hitting himself.

Now this will be the schedule for next week.

I hope you guys like this schedule, I love reacting and connecting with all of you and I will understand if some of you want more but this is what I can offer at the moment and what I can actually deliver without failing you guys. So I will understand if some of you don't like it and decide to stop supporting here. But I hope you all know that I will always deliver as much as I can and sometimes when I have the time I give all my energy to do a lot of things for all of you!

Also if anyone knows about Sertraline and if it's good or bad or if you can share your experience with me (On a private message here or DM on twitter) that will help me a lot bc I'm really worried about it because I read a lot of bad things about this drug.
