2019-04-10 17:27:11 +0000 UTCjust thought to let you know: Nathan and Peyton didn't try to flirt. they just never had a healthy ending to their mostly sex-driven relationship. I think they just wanted to know where the other person stood with that and to respectfully part ways, which they did. as to Lucas: his journey in S1 is about him learning a few life lessons, like respecting other people's feelings and choices more and less judgment on the people in his lives. He was never one of my faves, but I think it was necessary to explore all the ugly sides of Lucas in S1 so that he can grow from that later. Mouth and Brooke have one of the sweetest friendship in this show. I love that you love that too!

Also, I know you’re mad at Lucas rn but trust me he gets better, s1 is probably his worst season as a character, in the later seasons he is still whiny but lovable

And I liked their scenes together this episode. Also with Peyton and Nathan. I think Peyton talked some sense into him this ep. their friendship improves a lot as the show goes on. And mouth is so cute I love his character. Can’t wait to see you finish season one!

2019-04-10 01:33:21 +0000 UTCI don't think Lucas reacted that way over the kiss because of Peyton, it was because Haley just confessed to him how much she loved Nathan and she wasn't sure Nathan felt the same way. I think that when he saw the kiss he feared the worst, which was that Haley was gonna get heartbroken, that's why he also said at the end of their "date" that he will always be there for her and that she will be alright.
