Sokka, who is only a few years older then Aang and Katara, is the only "adult" male left in this tiny tribe. The others are either dead or off fighting in the war. We are looking at a civilization that is on the verge of going extinct with the Southern Water Tribe.

I tried to get my friends to watch it and they were like, "Sure. Sure. Whatever." One, who doesn't care for anime, got to it about 2 1/2 years after I suggested it to him and gave him a copy. He told me he finally watched it and I said, "What'd you think?" He said, "...Best...show...ever." I said, "...IS what I'm SAYIN'!" xD\

This show is my favourite of all time because it has a so unique style to it. Also as a kid this show is fantastic but as an adult this show has alot new to offer because there are things you will only understand when you are older. And every time I watch it from start zu finish there are details I haven't seen before. So every time you rewatch atla you still find new things you missed the watch before. I am so happy that we get the chance to see your reaction to this piece of art β‘

This series gets really good as you keep watching. :) And I've noticed that this show is usually an exception for people who normally don't care for animation. And yes! The original creators, as well as other people who worked on this series, are doing a live action version of this show for netflix. They are in the process of creating it, but no release date or anything else yet. Some of my favorite things about this show are the characters and the humor. The humor is something I find to be very unique to Atla. I'm very excited to see you learn even more about this show!
