I always wondered why Villanelle had to tell Eve she left the door open too. One idea I have is maybe it’s the two actresses way of playing it up for the audience suggesting something happened after the scene cut that left Eve so hot and bothered she wasn’t thinking clearly. She does look a little disheveled. More likely it’s just supposed to show how ready Eve is to follow Villanelle without a thought of looking back.

I think for now we can say she won't kill Eve bc she's obsessed with her, when she gets tired of it I think she won't care and either kills her or let's someone else do it. But the wonderful thing here is that Eve is influencing Villanelle as much as she is influencing Eve. Idk but maybe she is capable of love at the end but Eve will be the one who gets tired of her ends up killing her idk. This show is so perfect and I love the fact that I can't know fore sure how it would end.

2019-05-12 04:06:22 +0000 UTCI think you're either overestimating or underestimating Villanelle in thinking that she would never hurt Eve 'cause she loves her. Remember she "loved" the previous Russian woman (that Eve's hair reminded her of) and she killed that woman's husband and eventually moved on, after she got a whiff of Eve. Then Villanelle was about to kill her, but the woman killed herself first and she wasn't broken up over it. I think Eve is just her current...infatuation/fixation. It's a very cat and mouse relationship, but it goes back and forth. It also doesn't seem that Eve is really attracted to Villanelle for her looks. Villanelle goes to lengths to make herself look perfect in different styles, but Eve is just sort of like, "Nice outfit." Eve is TOTALLY attracted to Villanelle's psychopathy. It looks like Eve is the one "Killing Eve." She wants to believe that she doesn't have "the stomach" to be a killer, but she actually does because she's drawn to it, in some sensual way. It's possible that this ends with Eve killing Villanelle and becoming serial killer.
