Grace might actually be older than Trevor since he's 0114, I believe, and she's 0027. He did say they both were MUCH older than their bodies. So, mentally, they're closer in age than any other two people on the show.

I was worried that they would make confessions to let the world know that travelers exist, let their significant others find out and... somehow make it all ok, as if it never happened. But instead the confessions were aired, and then taken down but it was still out there for a bit. And while it seems not a lot of people believed it (randoms saying they're from the future? lol yeah ok sure) the idea was put in at least some peoples' heads. Kat seems kinda scared of her husband now and knows something is wrong - that she has felt this way before. (BTW he didn't drug her a second time, it was in her thoughts/imagination). Jeff seems to be the one who remembers the most / is the most suspicious. The FBI and other agencies (apparently) have started to find out even before the confessions so there IS consequences from last season. But yes the director makes things up as it goes along. Makes a change, sees how it plays out, tries to correct it over and over. And at the moment it said the best option is to cooperate with the 21st

2019-05-08 21:19:12 +0000 UTCI would like to take a second to defend the director. "The director makes mistakes" we keep hearing. Yes, but no. When the Director sends someone into a damaged host body (Marcy, Philip, Simon) there was no way of knowing that they had problems. If a human was making the decision they wouldn't know either. So technically yes the Director made a mistake but it wasn't because it oversaw something or didn't think of something, there simply was no information that said otherwise. It's a problem with the information / record. For example the guy (in season 1?) who took pills and then tried to shoot himself. The record showed he shot himself, so the autopsy probably didn't check his blood and didn't find out he also took pills to kill himself. So the traveler arrived before he shot himself and then the traveler died from the pills. If a human saw this information they would make the same mistake. The Director can find information and go through hypothetical scenarios thousands of times faster than a human but sometimes the information you have to work with is flawed.

2019-05-08 21:02:49 +0000 UTCSo what happened to Simon. 001 pretended he was going to fix him and brought him to the train tracks. Since he was going to get hit by a train and die the director used him to send a traveler to help delete the videos they sent out of their confessions. To clarify the director just thought it was a random man who died at the train tracks. I think that was the main thing you were struggling with but let me know if there's something else :p

The faction didn't have the technology to send conscioussness to the 21st since the Season 1 finale (little girl assasin) and after that they could only transfer consciousness from the Quantum Frame into people, and the Frame was destroyed. So Simon was sent by the director. Since the director was reset (having its security updated so to speak) and the quantum frame was destroyed and the director overwriting all the Faction members that it could find in the 21st - there aren't a ton of Faction people left in the 21st (if any - we haven't seen one yet, at least one we know is faction) .
