2019-05-10 19:31:37 +0000 UTCThe Great Divide is usually considered the worst episode of Avatar lol, so I'm glad you enjoyed it! I don't think it's one of Avatars best episodes but I still think it's fun and, like you said, sends a message. There are two sides to every story and history can get misconstrued. The episode also shows Aang developing his skills as the Avatar, which is good to see. And The Storm is definitely a fan favorite! It's great getting to see both Zuko and Aangs past. Also, once the air nomads master air bending, they get their tattoos. So the fact that only Aang out of the kids has them makes us assume Aang was really young when he mastered air bending. I also find it interesting that the creators took from many different cultures when they created this show. The way they figure out who the avatar is, with the avatar relics, is the same way they identify the Dalai Lama in Buddhism. I'm glad you're enjoying these episodes. This show and the characters are so much fun. And the depth to it makes it that much more enjoyable. :)
