From there we have 1 timeline where they were gone and Fitz put himself to sleep to reach that point in the future, right? So that's one timeline, with him up in space. Then the team came back and they have to be on the same timeline bc Fitz is still out there. But from the point where the Earth was supposed to crack we now have 2 timelines, one where it cracked and one where it didn't. What's the third one? I'm so beyond confused rn lol

2019-05-12 07:30:23 +0000 UTCYour assessment of the timelines changing, like in Endgame, and creating new ones is correct. I have not watched the season premiere yet. Haven't been able to, but I'll do that later this evening. We'll see how much Infinity War relates to AoS. It's possible it does, but AoS went to a possible future, where the Snap didn't happen 'cause the Earth cracked. Since they changed it and the Earth did not crack, the Snap may still have happened. "Runaways" may not relate because we don't know if they are in a different timeline/Earth or not, since they never really mention anything else that happens in the MCU. One thing I was slightly confused at first about in Endgame was them going into the past and changing things and therefore creating new timelines 'cause Banner and the Ancient One were talking about NOT doing that. Guess they tried but did anyway. A big change was past Nebula bringing past Thanos to the future then what happened to her. But the big one that confused me, but was explained later by The Russo Brothers, was Steve Rogers going to the past and staying there w/Peggy (and yes, I cried like a baby ;-)), thus creating a new timeline. So, how did he end up as an old man in the original timeline he came from? Well, they said he went back to Peggy, after he returned all the stones, and decided to stay with her and live his life, creating another timeline. Then, presumably, after lived the whole life and she died, he used the Pym particles to go back to the original timeline slightly before he left, with the replacement shield. So, he had lived his full life and was happy and that's why he could be comfortable with leaving that timeline, after Peggy was gone, to let his friends know what happened and give Sam the shield. It's possible that Steve and Peggy had their own adventures in their new timeline or he and she got married but he kept a low profile, not as Captain America, just as Steve Rogers. I've heard that because they opened up the multiverse with the different timelines, Marvel streaming service is thinking about a new "What If" series which will show different versions of characters we know and I heard they may do one where Peggy Carter received the supersoldier serum instead of Steve and she becomes Captain America. That'd be cool. I hear that did happen in the comics also.

2019-05-12 06:43:02 +0000 UTCThere's a TON of stuff seeded in this show where it TOTALLY benefits from rewatching. It really bugs me when people crap on S1 and call it bad. On rewatches, there's so many "OHHH NICE!" moments. And it's totally cool that they paid off the Project Pegasus stuff, finally, in the movies.

2019-05-12 05:30:06 +0000 UTCTime works exactly the same as it did in Endgame juli. If you go into the past you don’t change the future of the timeline you left. But our team never returned to that original timeline. The bad future the team was in still exists but our team is not in the same timeline as the main marvel universe anymore. Events changed which means the snap may not have happened at all. First our team was transported to an alternate timeline. Remember these are not our timeline’s future just a possible one. Robin saw different futures so it was never guaranteed that would be ours. In that timeline’s past the snap most likely didn’t happen. Maybe thor went for the head. Our team went back to the past of the alternate future’s timeline so it split into another alternate future were the stopped it from cracking based on Endgame rules. So they are now in a timeline with either no snap or it happened at a later time then the one in the main marvel timeline. But no crack. This means our team were in three different timelines in season 5. The movie timeline, the cracked earth future timeline, then the cracked earth past timeline but they stopped it from cracking.

But here is lines you missed. “We cut off the head of centipede” foreshadowing hydra being the ones running the program “Just because you are reasonable and firm doesn’t mean you are not a evil, faceless government douchebag. Skye said this to ward who is in fact those things Skye using the gps location of her van to unlock her hardware. Remember she used the planes location in the air to unlock it in ep 20 for mike.
