I love this show so much. When I first watched this episode I spent the whole thing wondering if Brooke was really being so hateful to ruin Jake and Jenny's life. I didn't want them to turn her into the typical mean girl who doesn't care about anything but herself. But at the end, she showed her true colors and proved that she was the lovable, amazing character that I loved. And I was so glad she and Peyton became friends again. For Keith, I never really thought much about his reaction to Karen's rejection before I started watching your videos, because when I watched this show I was young, so I was more interested in the teens' stories, but you've really made me re-examine my feelings about him in this season. And I totally agree with everything you said about Dan. He's a terrible person and a horrible father. I love that Nathan finally called him out on his bullsh*t. Speaking of Nathan, I loved your reaction to the end. I think we were all shocked by that. I can't wait to see what you think of season 2, but take your time. I understand that you're busy, and you have a lot to take care of.

When I first saw this as a teen I was cheering at Naley being married because I kept thinking being married in high school is so romantic, now as an adult I'm terrified at the thought of marrying anyone at 16.

I love episode 1x22! when it comes to storytelling, OTH has never let me down, well, I can also say that about AOS, but AOS still has new things to come haha, but OTH is one of the few finished series that I can say that I love every second of it and every storyline. The complete series, I love love love! and also, I come here again to say how much I love Nathan / Lucas relationship growth in the show.

2019-05-18 14:35:01 +0000 UTCwow, loved that reaction to a finale that sets up so so much for the rest of the show. a few thoughts: Keith: I don't think that he feels entitled to Karen's love, I just think that he was very hurt by her reaction and is in a really bad place. That's why he acted the way he did. But I think the events of this finale set up for him to move on and realize that his reaction to Karen's rejection was the best way to go. But I guess you'll have to see ;) Dan/Keith: I think they were trying to show that Keith is also capable of mistakes - he's not the "perfect brother" just because Dan is the worst. Still, Dan is obviously the villain of this show, just like you said so perfectly: "everything he touches, he destroys." AMEN! Nathan: Nathan has such a big character development, ein Season 1 alone. Him standing up for Lucas and his team was a long time coming and Dan deserved ALL OF IT. Lucas: He has made a few mistakes that made all of us upset, but he started his redemption journey this episode and I love that you saw that too. Brooke/Peyton: I love the friendships on this show so much and Peyton and Brooke are no exception. They presented girl power through and through this episode, loved that! Naley: They INVENTED rain kisses. for real!! They were the first tv ship to make it iconic. Their wedding came as a surprise to us all, but I am sure you're gonna get all your answers to that in Season 2. again, loved this reaction and cannot WAIT for more :)

Iβll comment again when I get the chance to watch this (currently editing a 25 page paper on metalwork in indigenous cultureβIβm dying) but just wanted to say thank you, Juli, for setting aside the time to react to all 22 episodes of the first season. OTH may not have the biggest fandom but those of us who love it seem to be pretty dedicated to it. So again, thank you for providing us with your reactions and thoughts despite not having nearly enough time in your schedule to do so. Really, really looking forward to season 2!!
