2019-06-27 23:44:04 +0000 UTCDanielle Rose Russell, the actress who plays Hope, was a fan of TVD and The Originals before getting the role. She has an understanding of all the characters and their history so i think that really helped with how authentically Mikaelson she felt ever since day 1.
