This is definitely one of the best of season 1! Wells/Eobard Thawne is from the future and is a descendent of Eddie but he's way way way down the line. Something you will come to learn watching this show is that the writers can be very inconsistent, Joe never actually adopted Barry so Iris and Barry are not legally siblings Joe was just his guardian plus Barry and Iris 11 years old & were friends before he moved in and Barry had already had a crush on her at that point it would be different if they were like 3 but they were old enough to know they are not siblings and Barry already had parents.

omg, one of the most epic episodes of the show! love that you love it too!
just to clear it up: Reverse Flash is from the future. at this point, as you can see, the multiverse with different earths hasn’t been introduced yet.
Eobard Thawne killing Cisco remains one of the most chilling scenes of the entire series. That was the point when the stakes got higher. If Barry hadn’t gone back in time a lot of people would’ve been dead now.

This was easily the best episode from season one. I was crushed was Wells, or Thawne killed Cisco because he's easily one of my favorite characters in the show who has been introduced so far. And I love that he discovered the truth about Wells/Thawne. Poor Cisco just before he was killed too. He saw Wells as a father to him, and thought Wells saw him like a son. How crushing. Thank goodness that Barry ran until he found himself back days in time, so that Barry can make things right.
I love Joe too, so I really liked the storyline with him and the meta-human criminal as well, and seeing the criminal create the tidal wave. My only dislikes to this episode and overall, are the love triangles between Barry, Iris, Eddie, and Barry's girlfriend. And I'm not a fan of Iris at all, so I really didn't like how flirty she is with Barry and jealous of his other relationships, while she's with Eddie. She drives me nuts.
Thank you! Until next time...
