I totally get that. I wasn’t trying to excuse Oliver’s bad choices here - i just think that it’s important for the show that he doesn’t always make the best choices. making Oliver perfect would make him less authentic.
he is so blinded by his fears that he doesn’t see how much everyone else is hurting.

ugh yes. Oliver is not quite himself atm. He is at a point where he pretends he knows what’s right and wrong when we all know he has no clue. You’re right, he made a few very questionable choices here. but it also makes Oliver more human, less perfect. I like that he’s not always doing the right thing, but grows constantly.

laurel was good but she got boring quick her character in the later seasons is way better written
