This episode was kinda slow but since I’m a huge Elijah fan I enjoyed it lol. It was weird to see Elijah being so different, he’s basically a new person since he has no memory of the thousand years he’s spent on earth. It was nice to see Elijah wearing a leather jacket and dancing and smiling in that club, we don’t see that side of him much. But i missed him having his memories.

2019-06-29 06:47:17 +0000 UTCThe creators and writers were excited to direct this episode because Elijah has never been the focus for an entire episode. They talked about loving the new direction for Elijah because he was so dedicated to his family but found a new family in Antionette and his choice to abandon his former life and family or this new one he has made his own. I remeber back when this aired Elijah pissesed me off with his whole fuck my previous family attitude. I mean he could have gone back to help find Haley and come back to Antionette if thats what he wanted. I was never a huge fan of Halijah so him and Antoinette didnt bother me. Although i dont like that she knew who he was the whole time and was convincing him to do things her way.
