The Guy towards the beginning of the film who says that he is from Durham and that the miners are the ones who would beat him up on the way to and from school is an actor called Dean Ashton who is the real Mark Ashton's Cousin. Also in the bit near the end when it says about how Jonathon was one of the first to be diagnosed and that he recently turned 65, if you look just behind him where there are some older men walking behind him and Gethin, they are some of the real members of LGSM.
