Well.. it was legal in California, where The Fosters takes place. It didn't become legal in all of the US until 2015.

I put it together after watching the your The Originals reactions. The only brunette you love as much as blondes is Katie Mcgrath and she's an original blonde. They have amazing chemistry but itβs weird imo because technically they are going to be siblings, and it was kind of horrible to kiss right outside the wedding after Stef and Lena just said they wanted to adopt them.
