I was super emotional during this episode because Klaus is my favorite originals character and this episode just prepared us for his death. I was spoiled for the episodes ending on youtube the day it aired so i knew what was comming when i watched it as it aired. I was a major Klaroline shipper becauase of the amazing chemistry between the two actors. There is a deleted scene of the two for this episode that you could watch if you wanted. I wish they had kept the scene but i knew they wanted to focus on morw of the family stuff. I liked Klamille but when we had that Klaroline ohone call in seaaon 3 i switched back to Klaroline because the chemistry is mangnetic to me and i wasnt a fan of vampire Cami. Seeing as they have legacies it made sense to me why they decided to make Hope and orphan even though it saddens me.

Yes Damon has the cure, and klaus said that, when he dies, that's when Rebekah can go and get the cure, so she won't die for another like 100 years.

Julie plec originally wanted to have the show end with klaus and caroline together hanging out in paris but changed her mind after realizing that having her move on from stefan just like that would be an insult to stefan's sacrifice. Also, Joseph morgan was the one who felt the series should end with klaus' death. It actually worked out for both of them because joseph once joked about it in comic con that if klaus and Elijah were to die, it should be in a swordfight to the death and this is kinda close to that; and for julie, this ended up being similar as to how she originally wanted to end the vampire diaries had nina not left in season 6 which would've been both stefan and Damon letting elena go to live her own life while the brothers would choose to die together by taking off their daylight rings in the sun and commit suicide via cremation

Elena doesn't have the cure anymore. it was taken out of her to give to Stefan and then she aged a few years. and the Stefan took it out of himself to give to damon.

They were all witches before Esther turned them into vampires and yes, Klaus was a witch with an untriggered werewolf curse. Since he only triggered it after he was turned. The only thing you can't be is a witch and a vampire, because that apparently defies nature (except for the Heretics). Hope is a witch, a triggered werewolf and apparently has vampire blood in her system, but she's not yet a vampire. Only if she dies, I guess.

Yes you were right Damon has the cure I his blood after Stefan injected him with it in the TVD finale so when Damon gets old Rebekah can go to mystic falls to get it from him

I feel like there are two strong reasons for Hayley's death, at least when it comes to the storyline. First of all they were setting up Legacies and knew they were going to kill Klaus - orphaning Hope provides a lot of backstory and emotion for a character that is about to be the lead of another show. I dislike this reasoning though, because I feel like they "took the easy route" in developing Hope's character by killing off both of her parents, it's almost like a trope. Secondly if they knew they wanted Elijah to die with Klaus, Hayley had to be gone. Because if she had been alive, there is a chance that his decision wouldn't have been as easy or believable. This way we truly believed that he felt that there were no hopes for his future. But if Hayley had been there, that would've been very different. So this reason makes sense to me from a writer's point of view. Would I have preferred Hayley to survive? 100%!

I cried all over again. Klaus and Elijahs death hit so hard. This episode was so beautiful especially the part when they were around the table laughing and just so happy, I honestly don’t feel like that part was scripted, it looked like the actors just reminiscing. This cast is one of my favorites, their connection and chemistry is amazing. I will always love TVD/TO and I miss them so much. I don’t really like Klaus and Caroline but they were really sweet in this episode, but I will always love Klamille/Cami. Also Rebekah and Marcel getting their happy ending is just beautiful they deserve. I really never expect Klaus to die or Elijah and I hate how hope is now an orphan. The way Hayley was standing behind hope was so beautifully sad. Overall this episode was beautiful.
