Question

Is this the correct order for the Marvel Movies? Because I was suppose to react to Iron Man 2 this week but it looks like The Incredible Hulk is first right? Should I react to that one first and next week to Iron Man 2?

I second release order. Watch Incredible Hulk next and stick to the order from the screenshot you posted. Chronological order is cool for people who want to do it when they rewatch the movies but release order is the way the movies were produced and everyone experienced them.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has 5(!) after credits scenes. Or 4 during credits scenes and 1 after to be precise. Most MCU movies have 1 during the credits, 1 after.

Release order is fine. Especially for someone like you. You have a good memory and can see that things really are connected. For some people, Chronological order works best because its like a single long story and some of the relationship are more clear. AOS and Agent Carter have prepared you well to understand the MCU and you'll end up seeing several things in the movies that show up in the TV shows. Having said all that, Incredible Hulk is "okay" but much like AOS picks up after the first half of season 1, so does the MCU. It will eventually pay off with some fantastic movies.

I really like The Hulk film, I think people should let her decide on her own is she enjoys it or not. People can wait another week for Iron Man 2 It is 100 percent in the MCU, this notion that it isn't is ridiculous. It's mentioned and hinted at throughout.

Release order, It's the way we all watched it. Its the way I still watch it when I do re-watches. also I really like the Incredible hulk (2008) and don't think it should be skipped, it gives you the same experience most of us had.

PhillyJ

Yea release order is the best way to do it then.

I recommend watching in release order. the movies were meant for people to understand in this way. for example, Captain America happens way before Iron Man, obvisly, but they put some references that you understand better if you have already watched Iron Man. The incredible Hulk is more for you to know Bruce's past, although they have changed the actor and what happens in The Incredible Hulk movie is never mentioned in the following movies. Particularly, I only remember the credit scene hahaha because I did not like the movie. But I recommend to someone who does not know much about Hulk's history, or has never read the HQs

Ok I'm confuse now. There's 2 ways of watching the movies. Chronological order and Release order which is what I am doing rn. So it's ok to do whatever way right? Also. If I continue with the release order I will watch Hulk before Iron Man 2 since I'm kinda OCD and I want to watch all the movies. I hope that's ok with everyone. Ik the movies have cut scenes but I didn't know some have more than one. I will pay attention so I don't miss any. Thank you for your help! ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜˜

skip the hulk tbh, watch the after credits

izzy

Here's another suggestion, why don't you do a quick pole? :) ask everyone if they thinks you should watch the hulk or just skip it. If most think you should watch it... Then watch it xD. If most people say skip it, then watch Iron-man 2 and after Iron-man 2 just Google "the incredible hulk post credit scene" and watch that (it's only a couple minutes). You can probably find it on YouTube :)

Then add on Infinity War, Ant Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel (In March 2019), Avengers 4 untitled (May 2019) , Spiderman: Far From Home (July 2019). This is the order that fits in the timeline the best.

Nanci Fenstermaker

Exactly! This is in chronological order. But she already started with Iron man and not Captain America.. So Isn't it easier if she just sticks to what she's started, meaning in order of release date?

Billieboi

Phase 1 Captain America: The First Avenger Iron Man Iron Man 2 The Incredible Hulk Thor The Avengers Phase 2 Iron Man 3 Thor: The Dark World Captain America: The Winter Soldier Guardians of the Galaxy Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Avengers: Age of Ultron Ant-Man Phase 3 Doctor Strange Captain America: Civil War Black Panther Spider-Man: Homecoming Thor: Ragnarok

Nanci Fenstermaker

There really is no wrong choice Juli, it's up to you :) BUT since you started with Iron man and not Captain America: the First Avenger (meaning that you're not watching in timeline order but in release date order) .. I would suggesting sticking to the list you have.. Although the hulk movie isn't that good lol!

Billieboi

The only connection that movie has to the others is in the last scene. Btw., don't miss all the after credits scenes most of these movies have, often more than one. Incredible Hulk's after credits scene happens before the credits ironically.

Stefan Klement

Not really. It is loosely connected and they change the hulk actor. I always skip it.

Christopher simeon

That is the correct release order but not timeline order. Everyone else watched them in that order though so thats the order you can watch it in and it will be fine.

Pickle9

You can react to the movies I either way. But I recommend you finish up with Iron Man since you just watched Iron Man and itโ€™s still fresh in your mind. Then begin with The Incredible Hulk. But you can do whatever way you want.
