It was nice seeing human elena fight escape something herself though. Tbh a smart idea would be to have Elena let Lily drink her blood, then she would be weak and they could take her on easier. Then Damon drink from her. I mean she was clearly evil and I don't think they'd really care if she died.

2018-08-03 21:34:07 +0000 UTCRegarding the cure situation.....I feel Damon is at a point where he is ready to settle down and be with the woman who has loved him through everything....Of course he found his way to loving vampirisim and it's lifestyle...But he didn't always love it....He originally wanted to turn for love, to be with Katherine once he thought she died he was hellbent on dying as a human....Stefan took that choice away when he forced him to complete transition. Regarding Stefan....I think he's too co dependant on Damon....He needs to allow Damon to make his own choices, be his own man he doesn't owe Stefan an explanation on his decision making. Elena I can understand....She wants Damon to think through this and process everything before making a decision. Elena getting her memories back was just the cutest thing and Damon's smile....I can't they're just too good with each other. π

2018-08-03 19:30:58 +0000 UTCI love how much both Elena and Damon have grown....Together they've overcome the Sirebond (which only existed because human Elena was in love with Damon), The Doppelganger spell (an ancient curse cast by Markos that drew Stefan and Elena together...Elena once told Damon how the "the universe doesn't control anything." Death (When Damon died and sacrificed his future with Elena to bring his brother back from the other side), and Memory loss (Elena was so devastated when she lost Damon, she turned to drugs/witch herbs to hallucinate him because Damon was the only one who could help her mourn his abscence.) And now they've overcome another obstacle....The prespective of human Elena loving Damon....As you said Elena told Damon she loved him MORE than humanly possible...Elena loves Damon more than she has ever loved anyone. They truly have this tragic, passionate, magnetic dynamic that neither could truly ever walk away from....Elena allowing herself to love Damon and Damon's love for Elena changed him...They make each other better how dare people call them toxic and abusive....Damon wants Elena to be happy even if it's not with him.

Damon just figured it out like two days ago. I think it would be a good idea to take some time to let it really sink in what it means, before making a decision like that. I mean thereβs no rush. And if Damon still wants it after a few days or weeks, then he of course should go on and do it βΊοΈ
