idk why but I just have a soft spot for steffan, I feel like he reacted like that because no matter how much they fight steffan doesn’t want Damon to die.Damon taking the cure will force steffan to accept that that one day he’ll die being human and that’s something steffan could never accept. It was also the main reason why steffan forced Damon to become a vampire he didn’t want to be alone, without family. Relationships and ships aside that’s his brother, his blood, they grew up together. Which to me makes this more sad because you want Damon to be happy, but you don’t Damon and steffan to lose each other, and that bond . Its like no matter what choice he makes someone loses😓😓
