2018-08-22 01:45:05 +0000 UTCJuli, you will see a bit more soon about Robbie and the whole "sell your soul" thing. However, some background on the comic background of Ghost Rider may help. It didn't diminish my enjoyment of the show to know just a bit of the background. You don't need to watch the Ghost rider movies or Dr. Strange to enjoy this. The quickest way to explain it is this (and this is a very short version of just one of the Ghost Rider background stories). Imagine that an Angel charged with protecting the innocent is captured and tortured by the Devil until they no longer think of themselves as protect the innocent. Now, they want to avenge the innocent. They become a spirit of Vengeance. Everything Robbie has talked about is about punishing those who have spilled the blood of innocent people. That's enough so that you kinda have an idea.
