2018-09-22 17:34:39 +0000 UTCI respect that opinion. I agree that she's is toxic in a way...but the thing is, she has a lot of things going against her....it's tough losing a parent. Peyton is angry at the world and she's kind of self destructive and dark. It might be easy for some to talk about their feelings, but there are people out there that would rather die than talk about their feelings. Then there are some people that you as a friend really have to be patient and persistent in order for them to open up. I can relate to Lucas in that way. No matter how Peyton acts, I can see that she's in pain so I wouldn't give up on her just because she's acting out. But some people are like you, that sees her firstly as toxic and would rather stay away from her and let her self destruct. While others would see that she's in pain and wanna help her. I'm not saying that you're wrong for that... it's all about how much you as a person can handle.

I never ever thought I would like Dan, and I’m not in love with him, but if you watch all through s9, they have a way of making you sympathies with him. Also Nathan, I can’t wait until you get further into s1, because I’m ready for you to love Nathan, it’s inevitable. Also Naley (haley and Nathan) are everything

2018-09-20 22:16:15 +0000 UTCPeyton just constantly lets her anger out on other people and is trying to make everyone as miserable as she is and it´s not okay. There are people that try to reach out to her like Brooke and Lucas and she´s just being a complete bitch towards them. I think it´s good that you want to understand her and are interested in what it is that pains her, I just gave up because it´s too much, you know? She´s so toxic towards everyone else. And in this episode: running the red lights? It was so reckless. She could´ve not just killed herself but there could´ve been families in the other cars. Don't get me wrong: I love the idea of the not so cheerful cheerleader. A complicated female character but she´s not just self destructive, she´s so toxic towards her whole environment and that is where my problem lies because she´s not just dragging herself down but also others and still expects them to come running. And while she is an unusual character she portrays the typical girl that will be pissed but not tell you what´s going on. I guess what I´m saying is that Peyton could´ve been this character that I related to a lot but the fact that she drags everyone around her (and to me all the scenes she´s in) down with her makes me unsympathetic towards her. I hope I don't sound like an asshole. I want her to be happy and get better but if I were to meet a Peyton in real life I would stairway from her because of how harmful she is to everyone else. I don't want her to be lonely but it´s a kind of self preservation if you know what I mean?
