I adored that scene with Lopez explaining to Holden his true feelings about how much Earthers take everything for granted. Up until now we have not seen too much about Martians, just tales and speculation, and in hindsight Alex, the pilot. But in the last two eps we see real Martians and get to experience their points of view directly. Even better, with this episode we get to see something other than them intimidating our crew. When Lopez got to talk about his desires for Mars and his wish to see an ocean, he became one of my favorite side characters. He was such an intriguing character. Last episode he seemed so unnerving, while this episode he was so sympathetic. Fantastic character work and acting. Also, that scene where Shed loses his head was amazing for sure. One of the wildest deaths I've seen on TV. I was so surprised by it.

2018-09-23 06:55:04 +0000 UTCThis is the episode everyone always waits to hear the reaction about.... the story starts to pick up, there's lots of action, and the episode ranks among the best. It usually hooks anyone who was undecided. At this point, all of the things they haven't answered are: 1) Where is Julie? 2) What did Julie see on the engine? 3) What did the databroker know? 4) What happened on Phoebe? 5) Who attacked Phoebe, the Canterbury and the Donnager? 6) Why was Julie involved in the first place 7) What happened to the gangs on Ceres that they have subtly mentioned are missing From here out, each episode starts to answer those questions... though new questions come as quickly as they answer old ones. There is always an element of mystery, even through Season 3 if you think of it as a rollercoaster, you are halfway up the slow climb of the big hill.... but you are past most of the introductions. Season 2 and 3 are the non-stop full speed thriller of the ride down the hill.
