May is now and always has been my favorite. I have shipped Philinda since around the third episode of season 1. May's story is one of the very best on TV. Her character development and relationship growth with all the team is truly amazing. Second is Daisy and I love every scene with May and Daisy together. Third is Coulson with Fitz right behind him. Next is Mack and then YoYo followed by Lincoln (RIP) and Hunter. Then Trip(RIP) and Bobbi and finally Jemma and Ward. My fav recurring character is Cal. Favorite guest is Robbie. I have been a Ming Na Wen fan since her days on the Soap "As The World Turns". Also know her from ER and from Stargate Universe.

I know you hate Radcliffe and I hate him as well, but that’s what makes him an amazing villain. I hate him more than Hive lol. And as someone said above you haven’t seen nothing yet. Keep watching.

Some character suddenly has a skill or device that they never had before and we never see it after that, for example. I think the strength of AOS is not only that the writers remember all of the previous stories, but they show the characters being permanently affected by things that happened and decisions that were made. This also lets them crank up the intensity of the emotion and characterization and as you've already noticed it can be painful. But it's kind of a sweetly intense pain that makes you feel better once you work through it. You know, kind of like life.

2018-09-25 00:35:53 +0000 UTCI think there are very few shows (period) that plan their whole seasons out as all one story. Most shows (Netflix ones, less so, but they are shorter seasons) are mostly episodic and just show you the characters you know in different situations and how they deal with these seemingly random situations that crop up. They sprinkle a little character development throughout the season, but it's not so much in every episode. AoS is VERY rare in that they plan and storyboard and outline for what they want to do and get to down the line seasons at a time. I don't know any other show that's really done that. "Babylon 5" had a 5-yr plan, but I have not rewatched it so I can't say if they planned all their episodes with the endgame in mind or if many were episodic. All this being said, I love the CW and Netflix shows. I like variety and watch different things when I'm in the mood for them. I find CW shows as more fantastical and fun. I don't really compare shows. I tend to keep them all in their separate universes so I can enter each one when I feel like spending time there. I can say that I don't ever recall NOT being in the mood to watch AoS though. ;-)

It's tied between Coulson and FitzSimmons and YES, combined they are ONE and they are greater than the sum of their awesome parts! I'm not a shipper, but that one is not a ship, it's simply a basic law of the universe.

2018-09-24 22:29:36 +0000 UTCI wish I knew how to react to your reaction. I certainly don't want to spoil anything. I'll just keep repeating. You've seen nothing yet. I do think you are completely correct about these writers. They reward viewers by never forgetting their characters and their history. They really try (for the most part) to write time as if they are just telling the story of a real person. All of their lives and experiences matter. They generally don't fall into drama traps or fake misunderstandings. They will prep things several episodes or even seasons before you get the payoff. When you do your rewatch(which I would love to see your reaction to) you will notice so many things even in the first few episodes that are foreshadowing everything. Like when May tells Coulson, that she said the same thing you told me in Bahrain, "You have to let the girl go". Again, when we see May react to the idea of being around a powered person, the look on her face is "Crap, not again, this hurts and scares me". She's scared for her soul. Fitz is my favorite. He's a hero in the spirit of Cap. He does the right thing even when the world or his team is against him.

I also love agent Melinda May but my fav is Skye, Daisy, Quake... lol since the beginning because she was so innocent and she used to see the good in every situations. Well not in season 4, she was really dark, well depressed in the first arc but she always take care of other people before herself. I lover her character so much, she's a fighter and I love and how sassy she is. We saw her grow up so much

2018-09-24 21:13:56 +0000 UTCAgent of shield was very close to being cancelled this season and season 5 (I don’t know why because this show is awesome) so the writers stepped up their game. These episodes are better then all cw superhero shows and most Dc movies I would even go as far as say better than marvel Netflix shows

No one even suspects that's possible to do at this point AND she's got May's brain print and memories so it'd be impossible, I think, even if someone knew that they have to ability to make LMD copies of actual people.
