Idk if you got that but just to clarify: Stefan and Valerie met in 1863 so that happened when he was 16. Katherine came into his life in 1864, when he was 17 so that´s why Valerie is his "first love" and first time. He had sex with Katherine but a year after Valerie.

I get that they're young but that is so unrealistic. We can't even say it´s the heightened emotions because they're both human. And she´s still so hung up. Losinga child is traumatizing and I can't imagine all the pain that causes a person but its been around 170 years. You´d think she´d get over him
