Teen Wolf's seasons are mysteries that unfold, so the fact that you are still early in the season means that most of the mysteries have not been revealed yet. You're not really missing much from before. This episode actually revealed quite a bit of info. The show does linger, early on, on the cheesy things a bit, but the show does get better and better. They find their footing. I tended to ignore the lingering cheesy teen romance stuff. It's not like they get rid of the romance, they just get better at it. Less cheesy. I think the only thing you're not remembering is that Derek grabbed Jackson before and sunk his nails into his neck. Those were the marks on the back of Jackson's neck. The alpha seemed to see the marks on the neck and left him alone without attacking him.

You really havent missed much by not remembering all of the info in previous episodes, like you said if you watch your reactions that should be everything you need. Again super excited to watch you react to it yay! It's one of me and my husbands favorite shows (and hes picky lol) 😁

He found Jackson and asked him where he could find Scott, but he got resistance from Jackson instead and when Derek grabbed Jackson by the neck he sunk his claws into the back of him.
