This was a crazy episode! I hope you guys enjoy it 😋

The Originals 3x05 FULL REACTION

Elijah said that he only remembered what happened with Aurora after Esther opened the Red Door. It was one of the things he felt so awful for that he locked it away and completely forgot about it. But that also explains his not knowing that Klaus had been the one to kill Esther. That was likely locked behind the Red Door too.

I fucking hated aurora too don’t worry. I really liked the concept tho of all of their first sires and how each once sort of represent their “designated” original😂 also this was like klaus first true love and before he got all evil and shit. You have to remember this was like just when they were turned. They didn’t even know they could compel or heal

I agree with Micah regarding Elijah. First of all, Elijah is being a hypocrite here. Always blaming Klaus for not allowing him to love when he was the one who broke Klaus and Aurora up and thus turning Klaus into a cynic. After Aurora told him he was a monster and no one could love him, reinforcing what Mikael had told him his whole life, Klaus decided to let his heart turn to stone. He laughed at the idea of his siblings ever finding love because he believed it to be a cruel joke. So what Elijah did was the last straw for Klaus. And yes, he was going to tell him but like Micah said, only because he wanted to come out looking like the better man. If Aurora had not been a threat he wouldn't have said shit. He left Klaus believing he was unloved for all that time when he could've changed the course. He watched him cry over Aurora and become hateful and did nothing. And that is why Klaus is angry. Not because he still loves her but because Elijah betrayed him at the very core and molded him into this cold and paranoid creature who can't love. It's been 1000 years of this lie and Klaus has every right to be angry. Specially when Elijah always rides the moral high ground. Elijah claims he wants Klaus' redemption but he cowardly hid the truth from Klaus, that he was the one to set his course. Elijah acts like he so much better than Klaus because he can love and he has some humanity left when he was the one responsible for destroying the last bit of hope Klaus has left. Oh I forgot to add. Speaking of hypocrites, here's Davina expecting the guy whose mother she killed to respect and trust her. Excuse me, but you're acting no better than than Klaus here. Being young doesn't excuse her for doing what she did.

So thing is when it was revealed in TVD 3X08 that Klaus killed his mom Elijah was daggered, it was Rebekah who was shocked when she learned, supposedly Elijah always knew after Aurora told him and never said anything to his siblings

No, what I mean is that it‘s been a thousand years. I find it very unrealistic that she would still have that big of a hold over him after such a long time and would be so mad at Elijah when he knows he was about to tell him if he hadn‘t stopped him himself. The forced part is that their chemistry doesn’t match up to the alleged epicness of their love (in my opinion of course). It would‘ve also been better if we ever heard about her or sth vaguely about her before this season. It’s kind of just out of nowhere. Same with Valerie from tvd.

I think aurora was klaus first time falling in Love that’s why he was more open about it. I did not think it was forced.

So I always took Elijah´s side in this fight but I forgot that Elijah actually tried to tell him but Klaus refused to listen. As much as I love Klaus: what gives him the right to be that mad about this? It was a thousand years ago and he had good reasons and wanted to tell him. I´m definitely team Elijah on that one. And I agree on Klaus and Aurora not having that much chemistry. Aurora seems like the kind of person that would chemistry with a rock so it´s odd that it`s not really there with Klaus. She has more chemistry with her brother tbh.. What I do find interesting about Aurora is that she has some kind of mental illness which they never really went into but I think might be bipolar disorder because she seems so unhitched and crazy but also killed herself and is over the top tragic (or at least she´s manic) and that she thought that would all go away if she turned into a vampire because they don't get sick but after she turned it didn't go away, it was heightened. Idk I just thought it was interesting.
