2018-10-09 18:26:38 +0000 UTCIt makes sense to me that Caroline is insecure when it comes to Stefan because she feels it took him forever to notice her as a romantic option and she lived through him falling in love with her best friend. If you remember she liked him in the first episode but he paid her no attention due to Elena. She has not gained enough confidence in their relationship yet to where she doesn't really let little outside things affect her. Plus her other romantic interest were Tyler and Matt. She never worried about Tyler because he had eyes only for her but intially when she was with Matt she had to he same insecurities about their relationship regarding Elena.

As for Caroline pregnancy it will be explained later (the next episode I think) but they had to do that because Candice Accola was really pregnant in that period. But yeah it still bother me that Caroline was with Rick, I Always so him more like a father figure to her. Weird

2018-10-09 04:04:06 +0000 UTCCarolune being insecure is not anything new. she has always been insecure, especially when it comes to love. remember the whole drama with elena in season 1 first with 'getting the other salvatore brother' and then when she got with matt and was insecure because of elena? and as a vampire she described herself as a "insecure, neurotic, controlfreak on crack". sure she hasnt show that side of her a lot in the last few seasons but its not surprising that her "insecure girlfriend" side comes out to play again with valerie around. but caroline still handles it well, she doesnt go overboard with it and she still trusts stefan with the situation. she just cant shut it off completely, its part of who she is.

2018-10-09 02:45:06 +0000 UTCThe thought of Alaric and Caroline just creeps me out. The possibility of a vampire (Caroline specifically) being pregnant is explained a little in the next episode but is still thought of as a major loophole by a lot of people.
